I remember when Salt & Shake cropped up in the 70s and it was a relaunch then. Can't beat finding a tiny small blue packet in your crisps!

Skived off work to get the new issue this morning (well, I had to get some new brushes  )

Stonkingly nice! Looks the dogs and has loads to read as well. You're just trying not to make me do any work!

I had two great binges on bubblegum cards in my youth. Google 'em both and see what a fool I was :D Firstly - early 70s - You'll Die Laughing. Pics of classic Universal horror movies with 'funny' captions underneath (I have sccumbed to the dreaded fleayBay for these again recently - such is the powe...

Hi all I'm Wil AKA Wil Too old to mention. Worked on games mags - Super Play, N64 (and freelanced for a load of others at Fwetch) in the 90s and now reside at Rare where I'm collapsed in a heap after working on Perfect Dark Zero for too long. I guess my golden age was the Super Famicom but as I get ...

Fantastically, we got a free one for being on the launch team. The HD is a rather lurid green, but who's gonna argue! Just need the wireless network adaptor to get up and running on Live! For retro-heads, the downloadable versions of Joust, Robotron, SmashTV and Gauntlet are great. You can play Gaun...

By the time the Speccy and C64 were around I had to buy myself that sort of stuff so my childhood Xmas memories were all about Flight Deck, Stylophones, and Major Matt Mason! I did get myself a 2600 one christmas (probably around '79). £99 and I had to pay back a couple of quid a week to Currys for...

Another vote for Smiths.

I also had a soft spot for cheese & onion Ringos. Smelt like old feet but were yummy. Are these still around?

If pushed I'd have to probably go with the Amiga although the Speccy and C64 are very dear to me.

Without a doubt the Super Famicom. Never bought a PAL game and only a select few US titles so I never thought of it as a SNES.

Truly my 'golden' age of gaming.
