Re: Photo's of your retro collection.

I am currently sorting out my loft, so thought I'd start taking some pics of my collection, I've only photo'd the majority boxed game part of my Nintendo collection so far (Snes/GB/N64) http://www.flickr.com/photos/59660509@N06/with/12589890503 I still have the consoles and hundreds of loose carts ...

Re: SFII (SNES) vs. SFII (MD)

Mugodrive versions were a joke compared to the snes ones. Smegodrive ones always felt clumsy and rough around the edges next to the snes (much the same debate as the aladdin games for me)......sound was the biggest turn off though, I know some people disagree but the snes pad was also perfect for th...

Re: Greatest shoot-em-ups

Area 88 (UN Squadron) on the snes! awesome. I love the layout of the game with level choice and it's challenge is set just right, as too many shooters are impossible. Was also a big fan of project-x and apidya on the amiga back in the day but haven't played either recently so don't know if they have...

I always take them off........but if they come off in one piece I usually re-stick them to one of the inside flaps.

Re: Trolling

There are plenty of other retro forums. And this one seems to have more fuckwits than any others. I fairly enjoy looking through the threads from time to time for a laugh.........but stopped posting long ago due to the sheer amount of anal goons around here! Express a different opinion from the clo...

Re: N64 collectors

I paid £460 for a Japanese N64 with mario upon it's Jap release and the games were all £90-£130...... I remember paying £110 for Star Wars Shadows of the Empire :D :D Anyway one other game I always loved was Blast Corps. No idea if it came out here or maybe had a different name............but it was...

Re: Super Nintendo collecting thread.

Nice I like to see the pal boxes as my entire collection (apart from about 10-15 games) are all super famicom. Looks as though many of the snes ones are just the sfc ones redesigned to fit the pal boxes (unlike the horrific US boxes) Although zoomed in (and slightly different posed) the demon's blaz...

I know it aint a great game (although tbh i've never actually played it, just going on popular opinion), but been after it for a dece...
