Re: What games/consoles have you bought this week??

Ordered Rule of Rose on PS2 the other day after seeing it in someone's collection on here (sorry, I forgot the user's name off the top of my head). Actually sounds like a pretty cool game, so looking forward to it.

Arcade Cabinet from Scratch

Hi All, For some time I've been wanting to build an arcade cabinet from scratch. I don't want anything with MAME etc, and would prefer it to be a full-size working replica/reproduction of an original cabinet. My ultimate goal would be to reproduce a Star Wars cockpit cabinet, but I doubt that would ...

Re: Photo's of your retro collection.

I don't need to see any more, your DOOM poster already destroys everything I own :P Nice telly too! Got the poster from eBay some years ago. Decided to mount it on a board and use it as a side 'cover' for the rack (as it just looked too open without it there). The TV was bought just so I could keep...

Re: What are you currently playing?

Got woken up by an advertising call centre phone call around 06:00 AM this morning, so decided to start playing Captain America: Super Soldier on the 360 before getting ready for work. I was pleasantly surprised. I'm not sure what makes it better than the Iron Man (etc) games - not that they're hard...

Re: What are you currently playing?

Well, yesterday I decided to climb out of my X-Wing (ie, stop playing Rogue Leader ) for a bit, and started playing Mario Kart Wii ... All because a mate of mine wants to try playing online. It's not as bad as I was led to believe, though it does seem to be 'missing something' compared to say the or...

Re: What are you currently playing?

Yesterday and this morning I've been playing Star Wars: Rogue Squadron II: Rogue Leader. Loving it, especially now that I got my hands on a memory card so I can actually save my progress

All I have to do now is replace the third party GameCube controller I have and it'll all be good!

Re: What games/consoles have you bought this week??

My copy of Star Wars: Rogue Squadron for the N64 arrived today - can't wait to play it over the weekend! Also had a Game Cube memory card arrive, so I can save any games I've started playing. (My complete series of The Prisoner on DVD also arrived today).

Re: Forza Motorsport 3

I still fire it up occasionally to try and get the achievement where you need gold on all the events - might be half way through that. Would love to give it a shot online if we got a bit of a 'league' together (and I think I know a couple of others who'd also be interested). I noticed that Mark Webb...

Re: Photo's of your retro collection.

Holy crap mlucifersam! That's one hell of a collection! Nice work. And I've played none of them as yet (need a step-down converter to run my Japanese consoles here in Australia). Or just get an Australian N64 power supply and use that... Yeah, that occurred to me yesterday afternoon. Might give it a...

Ordered a few over the past couple of days: Mario Kart: Double Dash (GameCube) Star Wars: Rogue Squadron (N64) Star Wars: Rogue Squadron III (GameCube) Also, my copies of F-Zero X (Japanese N64), F-Zero...
