Tron Legacy action figures in Poundland

Anyone interested in these? Spotted them in the Manchester Poundland this lunchtime, so I assume they will be in most branches

They seemed to have most of the range if anyone is looking to pick them up at a bargain price...

Re: Rubbish films you love!

I really enjoyed Meet Dave, a fairly recent Eddie Murphy flop... Thought it was hilarious!

I also really like Texas Chainsaw Massacre III, but I'd be first to admit it's not a classic.

Re: Puzzle games

I'd like to nominate Mindtrap, which I discovered whilst reviewing Mastertronic games... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EsRmndde-68 Very simple graphics and concept but a decent game with hundreds of levels. Other puzzle type games that I like but haven't yet been mentioned include: Rock 'N' Bolt (C...

Re: HMV to call in Administrators

Popped in the Manchester one at lunchtime to check out the sale, but still didn't see anything I'd want to pay out for even with 25% off! Even worse, there were games that were £10 in the sale last week which have now been put back up to full price (£16 in the case I'm thinking of) and then had the ...

Maybe, never played it either and never will as I don't play agmes on a PC and don't play online games generally, especially MMORPGs! I prefer games where I know everyone/thing I kill is not controlled by some nerdy teenager in Kansas... ;)

Re: Lego Marvel Super Heroes

similar games with a new skin in under 7 years. I think this is the key point - they are basically using the same game engine some 7 years on from its debut, albeit with a few tweaks, so it is bound to seem a bit familiar. I'm currently playing Lego LOTR and while I have enjoyed some of it, particu...

Re: Your Ideal Game

What I enjoy most in the current generation are open world games with a vast world to explore, where I can follow the core missions when I see fit but also spend hours just exploring or following side quests. With this in mind I have several ideal games that would blend the above gameplay style with...

Further approval for Gravity Crash and Braid here - both retro styled but with modern goodness! In addition: Beat Hazard Ultra - twin-stick shooter powered by your MP3 collection. Not for epileptics! BurgerTime World Tour - a reasonable update to the arcade classic Pac-Man Championship DX - Pac-Man ...

Re: Open World / Sandbox Games

I love sandbox games - I hate having to play games the way developers want me to (not to mention I tend to get stuck at points I can't get past!) so linear games really get on my nerves now in general. I love the freedom (within reason) of games that let me do what I want, when I want. Even critical...

Re: Disney buys Star Wars

How did you work that one out? You missed the blatantly Chinese Trade Federation guys and the stupid Jamaican sidekick then? ;) Sad to say, much as I love the original trilogy, and even the prequels sporadically, I honestly couldn't give a crap about new Star Wars material now... The fact that Luca...

Re: Play Expo Your thoughts

Does anyone have any info on the two lads who were demoing their indie platform/race game for PC? I had a go and really liked it and they were getting loads of positive responses and feedback, but for the life of me I can't remember the name of the game or their dev company to look it up. If you me...

Re: getting a super famicom to tune in

You'll need a very good TV to tune in a Jap RF signal which is at a different frequency than a PAL one... Even if you tune the picture in, you're not likely to get sound.

I think the most important question however is, given that you have a SCART lead, why would you want to tune it into RF?
