Speaking of battle quips what about the classic funny ones in Rogue Galaxy:

Re: SEGA SATURN lies and PSONE cool.

The cube pad is perfectly sized. The 360 pad is to big, bulky & uncomfortable. It's one of the reasons i got rid of my 360.

Re: SEGA SATURN lies and PSONE cool.

There are certain similarities. Both the PS1 and 3DO have a custom graphics chip driven by a custom CPU. The Saturn has duel CPU's driving the 2 custom graphics chips, DSP for sound and general purpose Motorola 68000. The Jaguar has no CPU but has the custom GPU, DSP and a general purpose Motorola ...

Re: SEGA SATURN lies and PSONE cool.

I thought it was because they were copying the design of the Jaguar  Lol it's funny you say that because it was kind of a spiritual successor to the Jag where as the PS was the spiritual successor to the 3DO in terms of the hardware setups. Mart you should def get one but ideally if you look a...

Re: SEGA SATURN lies and PSONE cool.

Wasn't the whole reason SEGA went with Hitachi processors was because the head of SEGA at the time was also a golfing buddy of the head of Hitachi? We already know the reason it had a second Hitachi processor added was because they panicked after seeing Playstation's polygon rendering ability. Rumo...

Re: dangers of psp cfw updates

Since upgrading to a PSP3000 from a 2000 model and modding it, there have been quite a few games i have had to change the pops on to get working properly. Wipeout XL had no music which if you are a fan you will realize is unacceptable and only after dropping it down to i think 3.4 did i get the musi...

Re: N64 Vs. Sega Saturn Vs. Psone

I managed to buy all 3 mainly due to having 4 paper rounds during the 1996/97/98/99 time frame. One morning round before school, 2 afternoon rounds after school and a Sunday morning round. Including pocket money i was taking home about £35 quid a week which although as an adult is laughable, for a 1...

Re: wii U

The N64 was more powerful than the PSone, but it still got outsold three or four to one. Power doesn't equate to sales, its all about the quality of software, and the marketing strategy. Just look at how the 3DS is performing compared to Vita in Japan as another example. Yeah but the N64 got outsol...

Re: SEGA SATURN lies and PSONE cool.

enjoyed the saturn but the ps1 wiped the floor with it, better games, better pad, better machine. agree about the better games and better machine but for me the Saturn pad was the best non analogue pad ever. The Saturn console i think is also the most reliable machine ever made. I still have my 199...

Re: wii U

All these articles obsessing over graphics and specs are depressing. Does anyone care about games anymore? People including myself want state of the art Graphics, specs AND games and i feel that is not unreasonable. I think that's one of the main reasons why Nintendo get the most stick on this foru...

Re: wii U

There are 2 games that really interest me for the Wii U and thats Pikmin 3 and the awesome looking Project P100. Imaginitive, good looking, colourful and i would of thought very fun to play and yet ironically i bet neither will sell very well.

Re: Your personal worst games of the 'modern' generation

I thought Bioshock was the best game of this generation and one of only 2 games i thoroughly enjoyed. I thought the enemy A.I was very good, the voice acting top notch and the atmosphere fantastic. The controls were also good and i never felt like i had been killed unfairly and always felt it was th...

I actually really enjoyed playing this with a mate back in the day. Final fight happens to be one of the few big games iv never actually played so i cant compare the 2 but there was something really addictive about Rival Turf that i cant quite put my finger on.

Athlete Kings & Winter Heat were great on Sega Saturn.
