Re: Enslaved 360

Awful platforming and dull combat wrapped in fancy graphics and plot. I hated it. Im surprised you feel that way Mart as the platforming is very similar to the platforming in ICO and the combat is also less dull than in ICO's. I really did enjoy ICO though and even though they look totally differen...

Re: What are you currently playing?

I'm also learning to play Dwarf Fortress (PC). I have the basics down but there's a lot of content in that game and it's not very self-explanatory. Still, can't help but love it! I can't help but think it would be better with some more advanced type of graphics (and yeah, I do use a tileset ofcours...

Re: Your "Go-to" game

Amazing game! Palace Midas and the Egyptian levels are i.m.o the best pieces of level design ever. Remember climbing onto the hand of the broken statue of King Midas for the first time? That's a moment in gaming i'll never forget. Yeah i remember doing that but seeing as i had the Saturn version it...

Advanced Wars 2/DS OutRun 2006: Coast 2 Coast These two are brilliant for short bursts of play and have been my ''Go-to'' games for years now. For a few days its Tomb Raider. The original 1996 version? If so it's nice to see it getting some love :) Yup. As much as i like Anniversary, it's the origi...

Re: Unfunny comedians

With the exception of Billy Connolly, Every single comedian i have ever seen/heard which is all the ones mentioned on here and all the ones that havn't i don't find funny in the slightest. None of them annoy or irritate i just find that people trying to be funny arn't. There are however a few Americ...

Re: What game have you COMPLETED this week

Saturn Bomberman Played through this many times and it's one of my favourite games of the 90s. Absolutely love the music and a few tracks in particular i still listen to on the ipod when out on the bike. The 1 player mode is very enjoyable and there are some lovely locations throughout. Multiplayer...

Re: No future for F-Zero?

There's a job waiting for you at Ninty, some great ideas. And the tablet controller could be a great tool for track creation. Honestly, why can Nintendo heiracy not see the potential? To suggest F Zero is stale or out of ideas, yet the Mario Kart sausage factory keeps chugging them out...well, they...

Re: The PS2/Xbox/Gamecube are not really retro.

I do think that these 7 criteria that i have previously mentioned would be perfectly used to define Retro. 1 - It would have to have been at least 10 years since the last game on that console was released in the shops. 2 - It would have to have been at least 10 years since the machine was being manu...
