Re: Resident Evil REmake HD.

Not good enough from Capcom. It's one of my best games ever so on the one hand it's nice to see them remastering it but i feel if they are going to do it then they should remake it properly as in re render all the backgrounds aswel as all the character models and add new areas so they could offer a ...

Re: Official Dreamcast Magazine Dummy Issue Zero

Wow a great collectors item. I have every issue of the Official Dreamcast mag including the special issue that has that girl on the front with turn me on but no other writing. Other rare UK games mags are Edge Magazine Issue 0 and CVG magazine issue 1. I remember seeing Edge issue 0 in a newsagents ...

Re: From the forum issue 132 - Favourite first-person shoote

Hmm either Metroid Prime, Bioshock or Exhumed. All 3 played wonderfully and had a great atmosphere about them. Honorable mentions must go to the original Rise Of The Triad, Duke Nukem 3D and Goldeneye. Overall though the FPS is my least favorite genre. I'd much prefer to be playing a RTS/TBS game li...

Re: Your fave 5th gen console

Ps1 easily. Not only did it have games of every genre but it had some of the best games of every genre of all time. I loved Both the Saturn and N64 aswel though and they both had half a dozen or so terrific titles. For me the Playstation 1 will never be repeated in terms of gaming experiences as we ...

Re: Daytona USA or Ridge Racer?

I always preferred the visual style & handling of Daytona to Ridge but i enjoyed Ridge aswel. Overall Daytona is my favorite arcade game of all time and the arcade game i have spent the most money on over the years at well over £150 quid. I found the 3 courses to be perfect and i was amazed at the 2...

Re: From the forum issue 128 - Favourite scrolling beat-'em-

Guardian Heroes easily. With multiple routes through the game and a storyline that changes depending on the route you take makes it a game you will play through many times over. There's also over 40 characters to collect and some great bosses and there is depth to the gameplay itself as your charact...

Re: Opinions on Nintendo's controller innovations

I found the Gamecube pad to be the most comfortable pad of all time. It wasn't big and bulky and the left analogue was by far my favorite and i loved the soft and wide L & R buttons with their u shaped inward arch that my fingers seemed to rest in perfectly and they had lovely deep travel. The A but...

My opinion is there is no problem with it whatsoever if you don't intend to sell them on and make money on them and if you don't have the money to buy them in the first place then it's fine and not stealing at all.

Re: Sega Saturn Vs Sony Playstation 1

Never had any problem with the 32 bit Tomb Raider or Resident Evil controls. When playing those games it isn't about thinking about the controls but feeling them which when you realise become perfectly comfortable. There have been many more games out there that have controlled way more responsively ...

Re: Sega Saturn Vs Sony Playstation 1

Sega released their 32 bit machine too early. They should of launched a better 32 bit machine around the end of 1995 using an SH3 chip clocked around 50mhz and an early Power VR 1 GPU.
