Nebulus was originally an 8-bit game,the port I assume was faithful.

I just finally managed to complete Nebulus for the first time yesterday and my hopes for any kind of reward for this long task :) were dashed by a simple screen that states "congratulations, you have completed your mission" and then returns to the high score table. cancelled?

normally something gets cancelled after a single season where the programme isn't working out, i doubt knightmare was cancelled, it ran for years and was extremely popular. just ran its natural course.

i don't fully see the point in them, i may have a look if it's a game i really loved (like paradroid) but really, as above, it's very easy to download an emulator of your favourite machine and play the original game...

fair enough... the reason i started buying retro gamer from last month's issue is that i'm interested in re-living great memories from the past (the 80s) and finding out about new (if any is being made) software on the 8-bit home computers. blimey, i guess i have no real idea who the readers of Retro Gamer are then. I've never really seen the point in remakes myself and am mainly interested in the 'commercially dead' machines, as you put it.
