Issue 130

Is this out now? Supposed to be in the shops today isn't it? As a subscriber, i've not received it yet, wondering if anyone else has.

Re: Mario Kart 8

In 2 player mode can 1 have the TV screen whilst the other has the gamepad screen??? Nope! This is ridiculous. You can do this on the Sonic All-Stars game. The vertical split screen is taking quite some getting used to, not a big fan of that. But that's just a minor thing, as are most of the proble...

Re: Temple of Apshai

Thanks both.

Yeah I was there in the 80s but in the early 80s I was pretty young (and it seems to be since the shift to the very early 80s in this section of the mag that I've noticed the game mentioned a lot more).

Cool, will check out the c64 trilogy!

Temple of Apshai

Is this a running joke or something? Lost count of the number of times I've seen it in the charts on the Back to the 80s section :-) makes me chuckle each time, it's normally at number 1 in the chart too (i think). Is it worth playing?

Re: Subscriptions Queries

I don't normally have this problem but this month my issue hasn't arrived. It's already out in the shops now (as of yesterday 24th april) and i've still not seen mine pop through the letterbox! Any help much appreciated!

Arcadia would be one such thing!

Re: Wii U Owners Thread - Including User IDs

This is the first big wii u session I've had since I got the 2550 mA battery. There is a huge difference in battery life, played about 4 hours with the screen on all the time and the battery is still half full, 8 hours should be achieveable which makes things a lot less of a pain. The controller is...

And yet *another* interview with Greg Johnson this latest issue! Surely someone can think of asking him about one of the quintessential games ever made in the space-rpg genre?!

Re: From the forum issue 126 - Favourite isometric games

I got a big kick out of playing Panther on my friend's C64 back in the day, super cool music and Zaxxon-like movement. Great blaster at a budget price.

Re: Is there room for the Wii U in this gen?

The Wii-U is now been donated to my kids as their machine, the Skylanders games and Wii Dance 2014 plus 3D Mario Land means the machine gets a lot of play by my kids You see, and herein lies the problem, that people still don't either know that it is called Mario 3D World or that they don't know th...

Re: Is there room for the Wii U in this gen?

Ha ha well there is 'quite' a few people who like gaming on some 'shitty' mobile screen ! I enjoyed gaming before on my gameboy, then a Pocket PC and now a few iOS devices. Having so many games with me wherever i am is superb. Console gaming is great, its good to see it so popular but for me i have...
