W.T.F?
I don't know how they can justify some of their preowned prices. The fact a used copy of Modern Warfare 2 costs £42.99 is just wrong.

Re: Whats the longest you have had a game without playing it?

Black and White 2 has just been sitting there, waiting since I bought it over a year ago. I'm really bad for buying games and not playing them though, I'd save so much money if I just waited for a bit.

Re: Monster in my Pocket

Hah, I used to love these. I remember when you used to get them free with Frosties, I collected them for a bit. I also remember the hilariously misleading advert where they claimed to have made them "extra squishy", before showing someone squash one right down. Unfortunately that was a complete lie.

Re: Name that game or console that you aspire to own

Knuckles Chaotix. I've never played the game, and I've always wanted to. Knuckles was always my favorite character out of the Sonic Franchise. I'm surprised it hasn't been included in any Sega compilation yet, or hit the virtual console. I live in University accomodation right now, so don't have the...

Re: The 'undiscovered gems' thread

I was very much an Amiga gamer, so here's a few recommendations to anyone of similar interest: * McDonald Land ( http://www.lemonamiga.com/?mainurl=http%3A//www.lemonamiga.com/games/details.php%3Fid%3D2195 ) - I think this was also released on the NES, but I've no idea what that version is like. Cer...

Re: "Coming soon" Mario feature from a few issues back

Maybe a 'Retro Icons' special issue could be cobbled together ; this way it would get Mario and any other characters out of the way, once and for all (or for a while, at least). They could even extend it so that one issue looks at Ninty characters, another looks at Sega, etc... That's a great idea,...

Nope :( Where is it you're based? Because Cash Converters in Falkirk is often a great place to pick up retro games. In the past month I've seen them selling lots of old consoles and TONS of older games for systems such as the Saturn, Master System, Mega Drive, PS1, Game Gear and N64 all at really g...

Re: "Coming soon" Mario feature from a few issues back

I'd like to see it. People can knock Mario, but the fact of the matter is that he's such a key player in general video game history that any magazine series focussed around retro gaming would feel out of place without covering his history in depth. Yes it's been done before, but this is retro gaming...

Re: Promote your local RETRO Independent

Good idea for a thread. I'd love to check out that Birmingham shop if I lived somewhere other than Scotland...speaking of which, anyone have any good suggestions for my good country?
