Re: Blu Ray vs DVD

Anything over five pints and I'm out for the whole of the next day. Although I can drink a shed load of whisky and not feel to bad the next day, if I so match as look at vodka the wrong I'm a gonna. And I've found no remedy or 'preventive measure' other than not drinking works for me either.

Re: What Films/TV Have you Watched Recently?

A few things over the weekend. Watched the hunger games with the missus. Whilst it's not as good as the book, it's a good film on it's own merits. Be intresting to see waht they do with the second one. Being Human series 4. Been putting this one off, with the cast changes, but found it really enjoya...

Re: You're personal favorite hidden gem for system x

Great idea for a thread :D Could be an expensive one! The first one that springs to mind is Baton Kaitos on the Gamecube. RPGs really need a good battle system as you will be putting a whole load of hours into these games typically. The one in Kaitos is incredible. I mean really really good...

Re: Your Top 5 Games Of All Time

The point made are fair enough but it's still a very subjective thing. The only Zelda games I have mildly enjoyed are the CD-i ones  I don't like RPG's though so its understandable. They are probably decent games but just not my thing. Its completely based on opinion of course. I tried to th...

If id played it first, i might agree. Ocarina holds that special, nostalgic place in my heart though.
Yeah a few of my friends would agree with that. I just prefer the smaller world/ extended side quests of majora. Having said that there isnt much in it imo.

2-Shenmue/shenmue 2. Find it hard to split these two.
3-Super metroid
4-God of war 2

Re: What do you collect?

Just harvest moon games at the moment which i started fairly recently. Most seem okay to get hold of with the snes game being the most expensive. Concentrating on the GB/GBC/GBA games first.

Re: Anyone work at Game/Gamestation/HMV/CeX?

I once served a man who had just bought a new HD tv. It took me ten minutes to explain to him why his PS2 wasn't out putting in 720p. He must have thought I was fobbing him off because he walked round the corner and asked someone else .

Re: worst designed console... functionally or aesthetically

Fair point on the GBA, it certainly served me up until the DS, but as an extra it would have been nice.It was different with me and the PS2 ; it semi regularly had three pads in so a need of a multi tap, and the extra cost, was a pain .

Re: worst designed console... functionally or aesthetically

Design wise:
PS2- Only two controller ports?
N64- Analogue stick wearing out, for me was, and still is, an issue.
GBA- No backlit screen. Fixed in subsequent versions but should have been in from the start.
