Re: Favourite Game...When You Were Half Your Current Age

It would probably be Super Mario Kart or Zombies on the SNES, as that's what I'd be playing at 16 and a half....

Right now, it's probably Red Dead Redemption or Oblivion or something, but it tends to change every week with me! :D

Re: Are there any original xbox collectors on here?.

I'm still collecting games on Xbox, and managed to find Grabbed By The Ghoulies for 2 quid in a charity shop yesterday! :D

Only had a quick go of it, as I got a lot of games for other systems too, but from what I've played so far it seems decent enough!

Re: What games/consoles have you bought this week??

Went on a bit of a spree, and picked up all these for under a fiver each... Madworld (Wii) - Violent, funny, weird and awesome! Recommend it to anybody who owns a Wii and doesn't mind a splattering of blood here and there... Red Steel (Wii) - Seems to be a fairly decent shooter...might have to get u...

Re: Hot Topic - Best Donkey Kong game

All pretty good games, but it has to be the original... The Game and Watch version was one of the first games I ever owned, and whenever I managed to find the coin-op in an arcade it ate a lot of 10p's.... :) The "Country" games were pretty good, and Donkey Kong 64 was ace too, but I sometimes felt ...

Re: Improving the magazine

I'd like to see some newer stuff covered.....I know it always riles some people when you cover stuff that they personally don't consider retro, but to me this is just a case of people in denial who fail to realise they themselves are becoming retro! :P I understand it's always going to be a balancin...

Re: New Vs Old Castlevania

Lords of Shadow is better than Castlevania, but Castlevania did start it all......hmmm, tricky!

I've went for the new one, even although I've only had a quick game of it....if it had been Symphony Of the Night rather than the original, it would have been a different story...

Re: From the Forum question for issue 83

Watching the film after playing the game....It was weird watching it, as I felt that Bond was trailing around places I'd visited and wandered around myself..even though they were only sets! Weird! :D

Re: What Films/TV Have you Watched Recently?

Weekend At Bernie's.....Haven't seen it before and thought it was about time I watched it! Pretty cool....

And having been inspired to look for films from the eighties I've yet to see, I'm going to track down Better Off Dead, starring John Cusack... :)
