Re: Your most exciting time in gaming

My most exciting was probably waiting for the N64 to come out! I remember having dreams about playing Super Mario 64 and getting really excited about Turok as well! The shift from 2D to 3D is something we won't see the like of again until someone makes a holo-deck or something!!

Re: Questions for Mark 'LittleBigPlanet' Healey

Do you remember if anything ever existed of Biff 2? There was talk of Biff riding bicycles, swimming, etc. in a preview in Your Sinclair...

You're also credited as having worked on Garfield-Winter's Tail on the Speccy...how was your experience working with a license like that? Good or bad?

Re: From the forum issue 137 - Favourite Playstation game

Bishi Bashi, RE2 & FFVII have already been mentioned, so I'll go with Oddworld : Abe's Oddysee!

One of the 1st games I played on my mate's PS1, it's atmosphere and style made me want to play more and helped make the decision to fork out for a PS1 a bit easier! :)

Re: Discuss 136: What do you consider "retro"?

like it or not, kids who were 13 when Metal gear Solid 2 came out on PS2...are now getting nostalgic about it at the age of 26! This means it's most definitely retro!

Re: Blogs

It's taken a while, but I finally completed the 2nd lot of Gruesome Games...which means I've now looked at over 200 games! I've put links to them all in one handy list so it's easier to find the ones that interest you.... :) http://deadpanflookandtheblogofstuff.blogspot.co.uk/2014/11/gruesome-games-...

Re: Retro Gamer - Issue 126

Just picked up this month's issue and loving what I've read so far... ...but I'm credited on the "From the Forum " bit on the letters page with saying something about Jurassic Park that samhain81 said when he was replying to issue 125's Favourite Movie Game question!?!? My fave isometric w...

Re: Bluetooth Spectrum Keyboard

A few of the game creators who haven't been getting paid are talking about it on a thread at WOS... (won't let me link, so just go to WOS Forums and check out Chit Chat! ) Shocked to hear about all this! Should there maybe be a more prominent announcement about this somewhere on the forum to ...

Re: Just how far along did coding get...?

Some good stuff mentioned so far! Here's another couple I was looking forward to that were canned.. Chakan 2 Follow up to the Megadrive game that was due to appear on Dreamcast. Supposedly a lot of the work on the game was absorbed into Blood Omen 2! Here's an animation video of what Chakan would ha...

Re: Is there a genre you've never played?

MMO's in the style of Warcraft , Guild Wars etc... Pretty much played at least a couple of games in every other genre....Strategy is another one I rarely go near, but I did play Civilization 2 for weeks and played stuff like Chaos & Rebelstar 2 on the Speccy! Oh! Cricket games! I've never played a c...

Re: Classics you should have played

Like Toxie, I never had an ST or Amiga back in the day, and just played the odd game when I went round to mates' houses, so there's a few classics on those systems I've never played. Likewise with early PC stuff...I've just downloaded Planescape Torment from GOG and giving that a bash for the first ...
