Re: Blogs

Just a quick wee post to say I found out that the Zelda comic is definitely a free gift with NMS from 1994...not sure which issue exactly, but that's it's origin! ;)

Re: Blogs

I'd guess it was an in-store promotional item, since it features quotes from both NMS and Total, so unlikely to have come with a mag since it advertises competitors. Total and NMS were eventually both owned by Future publishing after Emap sold NMS to them, so maybe it came after that? It may well b...

Re: Blogs

Found an old choose-your-own-adventure style Legend Of Zelda comic in a box, so stuck it on my blog for you to read! If anyone can help by telling me exactly where and when it came from, please leave a comment here or on the blog! :) http://deadpanflookandtheblogofstuff.blogspot.co.uk/2015/05/the-le...

Re: What games/consoles have you bought this week??

Well chuffed! Picked up Metal Gear Solid : Twin Snakes (on Gamecube) complete & boxed for £1.99 in a charity shop! I played it ages ago when I got a loan of it from a mate, but only got about halfway through so I was looking to pick it up again. I knew it had gone up in price since I last looked, bu...

Re: Name me some obscure Snes/Megadrive games to play

Battle Pinball is a cool game. We already discussed it on the other page. :D Whirlo is a good shout also, damm hard game to find in good nick in the wild also. Ah! Sorry....bottom of the 1st page wasn't loading for me earlier! I've only seen Whirlo/Xandra's once, and it was at a car boot sale...

Re: Top 25 Xbox Games

This is a tricky one for me, as I'm currently collecting loads of PS2 and Xbox games and finding new faves all the time! On a side note, why are Xbox games so hard to come by compared to PS2 games? Almost every CEX or Game I go into has a censored tonne of PS2 games, but the Xbox only gets a shelf ...

Re: Discuss Time! Issue 139

I spend so much time playing games on big consoles that I've actively avoided gaming on handhelds! I need to do something else at least some of the time, and if I had a handheld I'd never get anything done! It amazes my friends that I still don't own a mobile that can play anything but Snake! ...

Re: ps2 collecting

I just did a quick count of how many PS2 games I own now, as it's a while since I counted them last...apparently I have 394 , not including doubles! Thought the shelves were looking a bit full! Don't know if it'll stay that way, as there's a fair amount of tat in there as well as t...

Re: What game have you COMPLETED this week

Completed Murdered - Soul Suspect recently, and then Far Cry 3 early this morning! Still got a few collectables that I missed in Soul Suspect, but I'm not playing through it again just for those..not yet anyway! Maybe at a later date! Fairly enjoyable game, even if it is just pressing a single butto...

Re: Knightmare

Any of you still watch this on Challenge? I was watching it earlier. Still a top programme and a fantastic concept! It's held up really well. And I (as well as many of my generation) were huge fans of the show. If you don't watch it now (shame on you), did you enjoy it first time around? Erm, check...
