Re: Playstation Vita games discussion thread

I've done it - hurrah. Bit of a pain in the arse since I'd half hacked it to 3.60 but needed it on 3.65. The problem is so many online guides say different things. In the end I used a YouTube guide for Mac users. The video was about 20 minutes but with all the downloading and stuff it took me about ...

Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion

We did get two FIFAs, Rocket League, Mario Tennis Aces and NBA 2K1x. And the horrendously bad Legendary Eleven and WWE 2K18. There's some old stuff too, like Football Frenzy, Super Sidekick 3 and Turf Masters. Quite a bit of sports gaming there. Yeah I've got NBA, FIFA 18 and Super Sidekicks. Maybe...

Re: Playstation Vita games discussion thread

Brilliant, thanks. Yes a lot of hacking videos and instructions are a bit confusing. I'll give this dude a look. I've installed Henkaku but unfortunately my laptop I've always used for this type of stuff was swiped by my father in law, so I'm gonna have to use my good laptop. The FTP stuff looks pr...

Re: Playstation Vita games discussion thread

Tempted to pick one up now they are "retro". Not sure I'd bother hacking it unless there's anything emulator-wise it can do that the psp can't. I'd probably just play Football Manager & Everybody's Golf on it & I've already got a psp for that, unless either game's vastly better on the Vita. Will ha...

Re: Playstation Vita games discussion thread

Just hacked my Vita can still go online and buy from the store without updating so very happy. Nice being able to play Konami's Aliens and Gi Joe which run really nice via Final Burn as well most scrolling fighters. Final Burn is much more user friendly nice front end with screen shots and lots of ...

Re: Playstation Vita games discussion thread

Well, got a Vita. Oled version. Almost perfect condition - not a scratch on it. £60 so pretty happy with that, comes with an original travel case and a small 4gb memory card. Should I hack it? I've downgraded the firmware to 3.60 but not sure if I can be bothered actually doing the modding. Anyone e...

Hi, apologies if this is the wrong place to ask but has anyone received their 8bitDo yet?

Nope, I haven't. Might email them.

Re: Playstation Vita games discussion thread

I've been keeping my eye out for a Vita. I think gumtree looks my best bet.

What should I be looking out for? (apart from the obvious such as scratches etc). I borrowed my brother's a year or so back but just found the UI confusing.

Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion

The Switch is in desperate need of some sports games. And when I say the Switch, I mean I'M in desperate need of some sports games! The Sociable Soccer team have reiterated that they want it on the Switch but i can't see it happening any time soon. EA don't seem to be interested in giving us NHL. Al...

Re: Backwards Compatability

Ain't got a clue - i haven't got a PS4 or Xbox. I am however looking forward to playing NES games on the Switch when the online stuff launches. Hopefully there'll be SNES games on the way soon. I've also bought a couple of Neo Geo games on the Switch (Garou and Super Sidekicks 3) which I've really e...

Re: What games/consoles have you bought this week??

The blue Wii looks nice - especially for £8 boxed!

I've recently got a yellow Gameboy with Tetris, Super Mario Land and Super Mario Land 2. Hmmm - blurry! Has time made the screen less vibrant or is that just how the GB is??

Thought the Last Jedi was rubbish. So many ridiculous plot points.
