Re: What happens when you die?

I'm gutted i'll miss my own funeral. I mean that's disappointing isn't it - the biggest party ever hosted in your honour and you don't get to go.

Re: What are you currently playing?

WipeOut 2048 on the Vita - good game. Graphics look amazing on the small screen. Only problem is there's too much going on and it's too fast at times. I thought it was just me getting old but the reviews seems to back me up. Game Gear Shinobi - I've had this since it came out but never finished it. ...

Re: Sony announces Playstation 1 Classic

For me PS Vita is a much better PS Mini than this micro-console. You can buy more games for it (or go the rogue way). It is portable and games look much nicer on smaller OLED screen than stretched out to 40 or more inches. Also there are twin thumbstics. The only downside is that you can't play 2-p...

Re: What System would you like a 'Classic' console for?

Love the idea of the All in one Gameboy. What shape would they pick though?? It'd need at least four buttons for the GBA. And would a modern screen be able to flip from GBA to original green screen and back?

Where did you get yours?

Exactly what it says - where did you get your computer/consoles? I guess it doesn't include the systems you got off Father Christmas! Which ive just realised is quite a long list....hmm didn't think that through. Doesn't include ebay, Gumtree, hand-me-downs etc either. Snes - Woolworths! I think it ...

Re: gamesTM and GamesMaster to end

I had no idea GamesMaster was still going. This is from someone who watched the original show and bought some of the first magazines. I've got a couple of the Games TM retro compilations. But as far as news on modern gaming goes i'm happy with the little bits i see in RG, and i check Nintendo Life a...

Re: RE: Free Subscription Incentives

Got mine delivered this weekend. Very happy with it. It's my second 8bitdo controller. If it works well with the Switch (the big test) then i'll definitely look at getting more of their products. I've got the tiny Zero gamepad which i use with my phone and it's really good. All their stuff looks bea...

Re: Charity Shops

Well I struck gold pretty much Picked up a brand new & sealed Sega Saturn Console MK2 While the box is a little dented on one side, all the innards are still wrapped and sealed in their bags; controller, cables, manuals all sealed etc... Even the demo disc that came with the Saturn is still shrink ...

Looks ace. Love the SNK mag. I even like the catalogue lol

Don't like the plain subscribers cover though - it looks like a copy of Attitude magazine

No WipeOut 2097 is an incredible omission.

It's a no from me.

Re: From the forum: 188

Crash Team Racing. Really the only PS1 game I still play, and have played for the last 20 years. I enjoyed my Playstation at the time, but I've very little desire to replay those games. The generations before and after yes - but the PS1 leaves me cold for some reason.

I'll be buying them. Being able to go on handheld makes such a difference for playing time.

Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion

And the horrendously bad Legendary Eleven. Bugger. I quite liked the look of that and had been planning a purchase. Right, off the back of this post, I redownloaded Legendary Eleven to see how the patches have changed things. It's like a different game. I can't say I'd pay full whack for it, but if...

Re: Playstation Vita games discussion thread

I've done it - hurrah. Bit of a pain in the arse since I'd half hacked it to 3.60 but needed it on 3.65. The problem is so many online guides say different things. In the end I used a YouTube guide for Mac users. The video was about 20 minutes but with all the downloading and stuff it took me about ...

Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion

We did get two FIFAs, Rocket League, Mario Tennis Aces and NBA 2K1x. And the horrendously bad Legendary Eleven and WWE 2K18. There's some old stuff too, like Football Frenzy, Super Sidekick 3 and Turf Masters. Quite a bit of sports gaming there. Yeah I've got NBA, FIFA 18 and Super Sidekicks. Maybe...
