Hi There, I have a US Retro Duo (which is a SNES and NES toploader in one), I'm not 100% sure if this would use the same, do you have the original US plug with it (the two pin plug) All I use is a Stepdown Transformer 230V to 110V, it has the two pins socket to plug the original power supply in, an...

just bought a US model and want to run in the UK. It's says on the console: AC9V 850mA I've tried various 9V AC adaptors and ones I use with my US SNES and PC Engine (with different input sizes) all to no avail. so i'm thinking the console is in fact a dud. Great magazine.. though i've known about it for about 6 months, i've only just signed up for a subscription after buying old back issues from ebay and friends.
