Sasparilla/sarsaparilla. Got a bottle of it from Home Bargains a bit back, 39p, was lousy though, ruined by aspartame. :(

Re: Real Ale Drinkers or Lagerboys?

Got 8 cans of 'Galereux' from Lidl earlier, their red/white Stella imitation, £2.99 for 4x440ml cans. Gave me *proper* acid, tastes proper sh!t, too, but not sh!t in the same way Stella does, that tastes like heavy swamp farts, this just feels like bad sherbet crossed with battery acids. Stella wins...

Re: Top 10 Best Time Travel Movies

STILL haven't seen Timecrimes, been in my Sky+ box a few years!

What would Run Lola Run count as? Many hate, I really liked.

Also, The Dead Zone. Martin Sheen bits at the end, chilled me to the bone as a child!!!!!

Yeah, Shock G AKA Humpty Hump did a great solo LP several years back, 'Fear Of A Mixed Planet', really cool, thoughtful album. ;)

Re: When Rap Was Great!

I'd prune that list a bit but a great era for music, kudos for mentioning Digital Underground! And whatever people say about Coolio, he was part of WC & The MAAD Circle, one of the best West Coast acts back then (Curb Servin' is EPIC!) Nowadays, lost that bounce n' bite, thank god there are still pe...

Re: Indiana Jones GAMES

I thought the Last Crusade point n' clicker was utter crap, reminded me of Discworld with fiddly puzzles and meh progression. Maniac Mansion was loads more fun.

Re: When Rap Was Great!

Fair enough mate. It's one of those 'taste' things, one can like Bowie but might often prefer a DJ Premier beat. It just connects. Gotta be a tribal thing, I seriously love the heavy beats, the best stuff to me is loud and repetitious and funky - Christ, I listen to instrumentals a lot man, pure, he...

Re: The six best retro consoles for modern gamers...

No PS2 = absolute tommyrot!!!! Yeah, but to many people it's just not retro. It's only been off the market for a little over a year, after all. Still, it's the same generation as the Cube and the Dreamcast - which both made the list - so you could argue it either way. PS2 is ALWAYS my 'current gen'...

Antiriad, do you want us gangstaz to toss you random tracks in the vain hope of converting you into a hip hop-loving, priapismic Illuminatus???

In the words of Swedish hackers, Lou Reed is for lamers!!!! His music is dull like cabbage.

Re: Indiana Jones GAMES

Funny, I was tempted by The Staff of Kings for Wii the other day for £3... Two Indy games in one right there. Fate Of Atlantis is an unlockable in the Wii version. Never finished the main game, kept forgetting the bleedin' combat moves cos it's all about shaking the Wiimote/nunchuck, bloody annoyin...
