Re: Why did they take that out?

The blood in No Mercy PAL edition, I believe they removed it when they replaced the original faulty save carts. So unnecessary, it was far from gory, and it was silly they kept the first blood match in, and the wrestlers reacted to blood that was now invisible. I think I was lucky to get the old ve...

Re: 3d Platformer about 2 Aliens??

When you say '3D'...do you mean like in Super Mario 64, on-rails like Crash Bandicoot, or an isometric or 2.5D perspective?

Re: Bourbons Vs Custard Creams

Uuuuuuh....Penguins. Give each one a different technicolour packet...and let them all taste the same. Chocolate-covered bourbons. P-p-p-pick up a Penguin. Y'bastards. Second only to those 'Blue Riband' bars that are basically pap wafers covered in THE thinnest coating of synthetic chocolatoid substa...

Re: Retro Gaming. How far Back is your cut off point.

Probably the really basic stuff like old Atari, Intellivision, Colecovision, they'd be my cut-off point, I never liked them, too basic, too US-orientated and I didn't have the machines as a child (I borrowed my mate's Coleco but preferred the UK 8-bit computers of the time, it was like a really crap...

Re: Bourbons Vs Custard Creams

Fruit shorties with the sugar crystals on. ALL day.

If pushed between the options...bourbons, usually because the more premium ones have sugar crystals on them.

Re: M.Khan is bent

My old doc was called Mohammed Khan. I had a burning pee-pipe several years back, and he examined my penis. Ergo: he was bent. I remember Newman and Baddiel real well. I even had that Live video that came with an audio cassette of a Derek & Clive type of thing called "Minutes Of The Parish Council M...

Re: Is the forum in decline?

I think in general, even on political topics...people should realise the absurdity of it all. It's a forum full of people writing stuff they don't really need to write. We could all be out drinking and shagging or doing something real. So in essence, forum posting is merely a frippery. I realise tha...

Re: Is the forum in decline?

I remember in the past when I used to post a lot more, sometimes there was a 'fervency of opinion' amongst certain folk that struck me as a little mental and unpleasant. Like, it's a forum about retro gaming and peeps were getting quite heated and cold and nasty. I'd understand it on a political for...

Re: Tea or Coffee- NO thanks!

I love tea, love coffee, love ice tea but iced coffee makes me wanna gip. It reminds me of Mullerice (cold rice also makes me wanna gip). Coffee fact: Large Americanos at Costa have cost £2.40 for YEARS. A recent price hike now means they cost £2.50. The power of inflation. I have a feeling Krusty m...

Re: Best/worst franchise deviations

^yeah but don't forget it included the full co-op version of Rebel Assault AND all 3 Atari arcade games. Rebel Strike was a GREAT value package!

Hang on, I might be getting confused....

Re: Why did they take that out?

Force Unleashed 2 on 360. It felt like they'd taken half the game out. Completed it in about three hours or something! No wonder they had to tack on the Endor DLC as a kind of apology.
