Re: Replay Expo 2011 - Official Thread (inc name badge reque

Just booked a hotel for me + mate.

Same place we stayed last year - http://www.windsorandwestmorlandhotel.org.uk/ £55 for twin room - 10 min stroll from Norbreck, friendly staff and the breakfast was good :)

rooms are basic and old fashioned but they were clean.

Re: What a silly phone call to make

They would have worked it out eventually. You've probably done the right thing. I didn't pay Gas or Water at my house for 2 years - fortunately I saw this and put more than enough away each month for when the inevitable bills came. When they did, I had a nice lump of savings that I had been earning ...

Re: The 360 Import Thread

Too much to look forward to now. I found someone selling Muchi Muchi Pork/Pink Sweets Limited Edition for a very reasonable price - The soundtrack CD's are sealed etc. Hopefully it will be here by the end of the week.

Then I can look forward to PA sending out Espgaluda 2 Black Label :D

Re: Streets Of Rage Remake Final Released

I grabbed it before it was pulled. I've uploaded it here.

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=SKKD104L

(Should add that it is freeware and the dev has suggested that folks make it available for download elsewhere)

How about merging all the spam replies into one uber "these users now look mental" megathread.

Re: Custom Stick/Controller thread

The case cost me $60 so in this instance it made sense.

They did a far better job than I expect I would have done with a 1st attempt anyway :)

Re: Custom Stick/Controller thread

The case was made by these chaps http://foe-hammer.com/ - I got it rather cheaply as it was "unfinished" - I just had to do a little sanding and coating and it was all good to go :D I would have loved to build my own wooden case, but after the outlay for the tools needed it would have cost far too m...

Re: The 360 Import Thread

I've just pre-ordered Espgaluda II Black Label (Platinum Edition) for £25ish including postage. Not bad :D

http://www.play-asia.com/Espgaluda_II_B ... -46gv.html

Still want to get hold of MMP/Pink Sweets.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, it is region free.

Custom Stick/Controller thread

I finished wiring up my custom xbox 360 / PC arcade stick last night, thought I would post it here to see what folks think and see other folks custom controllers. I love shoot'em'ups so playing Deathsmiles/Mushihimesama Futari using the 360 pad wasn't cutting it. Works nicely for Virtua Fighter 5 to...

Visited the brother in law today and we ended up playing Project Gotham Racing on the original Xbox. Still a fun game!

Re: Madbid.com

What makes me laugh is the "Brand New Car sold for £250" - Which is effectively:

"I will sell my car to you for £15 - but for this transaction, each £1 is actually £1000"

*Buyer runs off after handing over the "£15" telling everyone they bought a car for £15

Re: Formula 1 2011 Thread.....

I'm not a fan of nitpicking in the regs etc. but Button was penalised (rightly) for cutting a corner and gaining an advantage, yet Vettel got away with going off the track to pass Button later with no repercussions. Annoying regulations don't irritate fans as much as inconsistent decision making! I...

Just completed Mafia 2 on the 360. Fun game but a very rubbish ending.
