Re: Secret Santa 2011!!

Well my gift has not been delivered to my office so it won't be getting to it's recipient before christmas :( I'll add a few things to it to make up for it being late. 3-5 days delivery means 2+ weeks it seems!

Bit gutted!

Re: What grinds your gears ?

The nature of insurance is irritating if you don't fit the category you are stuck in. To insure me to drive the 2006 1.3ltr Nissan Micra - £800+ To insure me to drive my old mans 4.7litre V8 P4 Ferrari Replica - £180 Makes perfect sense! I guess using statistics to determine pricing is always going ...

Re: What grinds your gears ?

Whilst we're on the subject, here is a timely blog post regarding red light jumping :D (very tongue in cheek title in case anyone gets upset ;) ) http://karlmccracken.sweat365.com/2011/12/10/all-drivers-jump-all-red-lights-all-the-time/ It is a minority though. Riding is still fun and most people ar...

Re: Best Console Football Management game?

I always liked Giant Killers on the Dreamcast . It could be such a ridiculously easy game at times but for some reason I just really enjoyed it. I forgot about that game. I was slightly surprised when I picked Stockport County (or any lower league team) and started with about 20mil in the bank :D

Re: What grinds your gears ?

My 20 mile round trip to work is mostly street lit / fairly busy roads. I just use static lights. If I venture off onto country lanes then I'd definitely stick the flashing lights on. I'd rather annoy a few road users with a comparatively dull flashing light than get hit by someone who wasn't paying...

Re: It was time for an Agonizing Reappraisal of the whole sc

Announcing "leaving" a forum is quite redundant. The previous posts remain so you still come across the leaver often enough. It's exactly like a nightmare horror of a GF saying she is leaving you, she walks out of the door and into the distance. Then you goto your bathroom and she is sat down in the...

Re: What grinds your gears ?

These lycra-loving morons ride side by side on the road so traffic can't pass and happily ignore traffic signals. They also think it's ok to plough through a pedestrian crossing while people are using it, as long as they ring their bell repeatedly. As soon as I read the Joggers post I was going to ...

Re: MAME OSX

You should be able to just create a folder called "flyers" in the MAME directory and drop the files in there.
