Re: $1.2 billion

Nintendo need a change of managment at the very top level, the old guys stuck in their ways need to go as their ideas and stratagy isn't working at all. Im not saying they need to stop being Nintendo, they just need to come up to speed somewhat and stop farting about. Oh and a total change in the ma...

Re: N64 Vs Sega Saturn

I think when it comes down to draw distance as well as pop-in it all comes down to the developer regardless of the console. In the right hands none of the three systs suffered in these two areas in any great lengths. Banjo Kazooie didn't have a problem in these two areas from what I remember. The Sa...

Re: N64 Vs Sega Saturn

I wonder how the N64 would have faired without Rare and its gemes? They produced so many of the systems top games its unreal, AAA games one after the other, when I think of the system I immediately think about their games amongst others. On the Saturn though I couldn't really single any developer ou...

Re: N64 Vs Sega Saturn

Its all down to personal taste in the end. I, like many others here, can probably name 10 or even 20 games that I think are genuine classics on the Saturn but can't do the same for the PS1 or N64. That is because of your blind hatred of Nintendo and Sony. Nothing to do with the games themselves. Ye...

Re: N64 Vs Sega Saturn

I wouldn't say Burning Rangers is one of the Saturns strongest AAA games though, i'd say its one of its weakest AAA titles. The game needed at least anoth 6 months or more just to iron out all of the issues the game had which they could have done with more time.

Re: N64 Vs Sega Saturn

When I think of the Saturn and N64 they both seem to compair up quite well against each other in terms of games at least to me anyway. Nintendo had their exclusives, Sega had theirs excluding a proper Sonic that is, both had third party support but nowhere near as much or as many as the PS1.

Re: N64 Vs Sega Saturn

I think the N64 is superior to the Sega Saturn. I think from a technical perspective they had different strengths, but if we go by library alone, the N64 has some of the greatest games ever made (and Superman), where as Saturn has a few decent arcade games, but lacking in much depth and real AAA ti...

N64 Vs Sega Saturn

Why this thread? Well after reading the Saturn Vs PS thread i got thinking about the N64 and how that compaired with the Saturn, and after a while it just seemed like these two consoles were more evenly matched. Yes the N64 sold more, but that aside, in terms of games, third party support, and gener...

Re: Sega Saturn Vs Sony Playstation 1

Neither the Saturn OR Playstation ever did 2D fighters particularly well. They both aced the 3D genre though ..... really really well. What    The Saturn is renowned for being incredibly good at 2D fighters. One area where it undoubtedly spanked the PS1. Street Fighter Alphas, ...

Re: Sega Saturn Vs Sony Playstation 1

I dunno if it's Sega's 'fault' as such .... not for me anyway, it might be that the games they have done just aren't for me? In hindsight I don't think there have been many Sega games (throughout gaming history) I've properly loved ..... that does lead nicely back on topis though, VF2 on the Saturn...

Re: Sega Saturn Vs Sony Playstation 1

Thanks nakamura for unnecessarily derailing the thread for a couple of pages and adding nothing to the discussion that was going on, if you wanted to vent about fanboyism then you should have posted in the 'what grinds your gears' thread in Off Topic.

Re: Is there room for the Wii U in this gen?

I think the Wii U is offering far more in terms of veriety of games on offer at the moment than the Xbone/PS4 combined, and the games on the Wii U and those still to come seem far more interesting to from what i have seen. This might all change though in 6 months to a year when more starts coming ou...

Re: Now that 2DS makes sense

There are some games where the 2DS isn't really viable - particularly those where the gameplay is enhanced with the Circle Pad Pro. Is the Circle Pad Pro still a Thing ? Last time i heard about that was when RE was released on the system. I thought Nintendo missed a trick not putting another analog...

Now that 2DS makes sense

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2014- ... urt-ruling
All of a sudden the 2DS seems to make abit more sense, makes me wonder if Nintendo saw this future outcome on the horizon.
