Re: Sega Saturn collecting thread

Just got myself a Saturn now, fully boxed, amazing condition, with Sega Rally and Virtua Fighter 2, works perfectly, new battery put in, first thing's first I'll need to procure a memory card for it, but otherwise the only game I REALLY want is Athlete Kings. Is ebay the way to go, or do any of you ...

Re: What games/consoles have you bought this week??

Just got a Sega Saturn. Outstanding condition, boxed, 1 official and 1 unofficial controller, new battery put in, came with 2 copies of Sega Rally and Virtua Fighter 2. Traded for an unboxed SNES with Super Mario Kart and Super Mario All-Stars, and a PS2. Had two PS2s, so don't really consider that ...

I feel I should be pedantic and ask for the full correct title, but that would only mean a quick google

The Astonishing Adventures of Mr Weems and the She-Vampires is right, on the Speccy. Well done!

Re: From the forum issue 118 Favourite NES game

SMB3, no contest.

But just so we can get more names of games out there, I quite liked Hostages, which as an 8-bit conversion looked amazing, and it's a game crying out for a remake on modern technology.

Re: Wombledon: A thread

I'm sure I don't need to say it... but I'm very very chuffed with Mr Murray.

Well done Andy.

That should cement a number 1 ranking soon, shouldn't it?

Re: Best puzzle games

Lemmings is definitely a puzzler, and so is tetris for that matter. Other things to be considered are Minesweeper, world of goo, angry birds, cut the rope, peggle. Not sure about Angry Birds... is Worms a puzzler? At some point here we seem to switch over to Strategy, which would include games like...

Re: 8-bit computer puzzle games

E*Motion? Never owned it, played it a couple of times at a friend's house, not sure it classes as a puzzler. I'd put a big shout out to Mindtrap on the Spectrum, it's a relatively unknown puzzler with 999,999 levels to complete, and I was quite pleased to admit, as a youngster, to reaching somewhere...

Re: Wombledon: A thread

Well, looking at the stats, it doesn't look good for Lisicki.

33 unforced errors to Radwanska's 5, 6 double faults to Radwanska's nil...

The momentum appears to be with Radwanska.

Still, there's a whole set to play, could be anyone's.
