Re: Best Type-In Progs by Machine

Now then, my first computer was the beloved TI/99-4A, and I have been actually typing in listings and saving them as ready-to-run files for the Classic99 emulator. http://www.fishsta.co.uk/ti994agames.html The thing is, most games that I owned were BASIC games, I only had a few Cartridge games. In ...

Re: What aged the best?

Yep, the original 48K Spectrum is an eternal classic. It may just be a Casio calculator widened to take a QWERTY keyboard, but the simplicity with which it marries form to function is a delight to behold. The Oric Atmos with its decent black keyboard and orange-red underside looks great too. The At...

Re: From the forum issue 132 - Favourite first-person shoote

Seeing Doom was the moment that made me think it was time to get a PC, I remember buying it for the SNES but it was nothing compared to the PC version. A lot of the early games were really good-my Favourite being the original Quake. Some honourable mentions for Rise of the Triad, Duke Nukem 3D and H...

Re: New "How To" section - what should it cover?

As has already been mentioned-a step by step guide to various emulators, I like to think I am pretty good with them now, but some of them took an age to get up and running. How to keep "Real Iron" alive and current, eg:- Divide for the Spectrum, Retro Clinic Datacentre for the BBC, F18a for the TI,M...

Re: What aged the best?

I don't belive there has ever been a feature on the Enterprise in the magazine, perhaps if it was possibe to stick a little nintendo badge on it, or possibly rebrand it-the Enterprise CPC464.

Just maybe it may get a small mention.

Going back to the Lynx feature and the sales figures, If about 3 million units shifted is the pre-requisite for getting a feature in the mag, then it must be time for-

Best of luck-the cartridge will cost you more than the machine to run it on.

an unboxed with no instructions example will usually fetch around £20-30, with box and instructions you are talking between £40 to £60.

Re: From the forum issue 129 - Worst sticking points

I honestly can't believe that anyone is even having a debate about this!, the answer is obviously Raiders of the lost ark on the 2600.
Anyone who claims to have finished this without the hint sheet is simply a lying (deleted)

Another tough nut was level 9's Return to Eden.

So what you want is-another feature on the VIC20, there has already been one, granted it was some time ago.
