Re: Issue 73 feedback

I think this months mag is the best issue in some time, the Colecovision retrospective was particularly welcome - already looking forward to next month's SAM coupe feature. I do however have a resevation about Mr Braben making another appearance. I love Elite as much as the next man but -(please oh ...

Re: Derek and Clive

A bit off track - but one of the funiest things I ever saw from Peter Cook was his performance on the Clive Anderson show. And - one of the funniest things I heard from him was an audio recording made not long before he died - when he took on his Sir Arthur Streeb-Greebling persona and was interview...

Re: Small ethical question

I have never been a prolific advocate of piracy:- BUT - the software houses were and still continue to be their own worst enemies. Take copying 8bit tapes as an example - we were told in the eighties that it would result in the premature death of the industry, that pirates were causing massive hards...

Re: Name that game or console that you aspire to own

Can I cheat and have a computer instead of a console?

If so - My Holy Grail would be a Color Genie.

Game - Three arcade cabs I always wanted - Robotron, Terra Cresta and Scramble. (if forced to choose 1 - Robotron wins anyday!!!).

Re: Retro Cheats Section

Yeah - I dont see the harm in it, Dont buy this argument that seems prevalent in many threads - that the magazine should not cover something because the information is already available on-line, Practically all information regarding any subject matter is available on line, to take this argument to i...

Re: Any MSX collectors here?

I wouldn't say I was mad on MSX but I do have a couple of MSX1's - Toshiba and Goldstar. hey never really caught my imagination at the time - they seemed like a technological step backwards - sound was average and the graphics were almost identical to the Texas machines which could be bought 4 or 5 ...

Re: SNES or Mega Drive (Genesis)

If I could cheat a bit - I would probably have the Mega CD with the Megadrive.

If I cant cheat SNES wins by a mile.

Atarisoft.

Would anybody else like to see a feature on Atarisoft, they did support practically every format going. It would be nice to see some comparitive screen shots on the various systems.

Re: Features on Acornsoft or Superior Software?

One more for some Beeb stuff here!

I too would like to see a more encompassing feature on Superior and Acornsoft, It would also be good to see some more on the other houses that supported the Beeb - such as:- Alligata, Blue Ribbon, Incentive, Lothlorien and Micropower -etc,etc,etc.

Re: From the Forum question for issue 74

Favourite controller - tied for first place are the Atari standard and the Wico red ball.

Bringing up the rear as the biggest piles of censored are - Texas Instruments joysticks, closely followes by the Colecovison standards.

Re: Sega multimega retroinspection

I personally would not like to see a retroinspection on the Multimega, the Megadrive and Mega CD have already been covered. It would seem to be about the same as having a retroinspection on the Amiga 500 - then a seperate one for the Amiga 600, the hardware is essentially the same and the games play...

Re: Muslim march through Wootton Bassett.

The only reason Choudray and his collective of inbreds wished to march in this particular location was to stir up a Hornets nest and to show the highest level of disrespect possible to the repatriated British soldiers and their grieving families. It had nothing whatsoever to do with highlighting the...
