There are a lot of shmups on the playstation and saturn so you best look there.
There are some good ones on the older systems too.

Re: Columns (Mega Drive/Xbox360/PS3)
There's a massive difference between PAL and NTSC Columns. On the original hardware at 50Hz I can keep playing the same game until DVT sets in. The game speed maxs out at a point at which I can settle in the zone and I generally never see the game over screen having switched off in boredom long bef...

Re: Street Fighter III: Third Strike, Over-Rated???
Not the first time I have seen it but that parry video is amazing.
I have played 3rd strike before but it was about 8 years ago so I can't really comment on it until I get a chance to play it again.

Re: What games/consoles have you bought this week??
Screw it, just went for a different 3DO bundle on ebay. Not quite as good as the one I missed out on but it includes: - Panasonic FZ-1 3DO Console (with pad, leads etc.) - FIFA (won't be playing this unless it's like the Mega Drive original) - Street Fighter II Turbo (Definitely playing this!) - 3D...

So have a look at the bookazines on the Imagine web-shop, they're very good and have a ton of stuff in ...

Re: Absolutely no sympathy
But now I don't want to do it anymore, I have in the pass been offered to get homebrew on my wii but I said no, I'm doing this legit. Just to clarify, there's nothing illegitimate about homebrew... it just that because a console is a closed system, it needs similar techniques to run that pirated ga...
