Halo 1 & 2 (the only FPS games that I've really liked since GoldenEye).
If you like goldenEye then you MUST get Timesplitters 2. It's coded by some of the Goldeneye team but with more challenges and Fantastic multiplayer and map making modes. :D

I personally think Pro Evo games work better on the XBox. Controls are so much easier and the audio and graphics are a VAST improvement over the PS2 version.

There are a fair few classics if you can hunt around. The original Buffy game is good fun. Far Cry Instincts, Top Spin, Doom 3/Ressurection of Evil, OutRun 2/2006 and Pro Evo 5 are all games I would consider worth owning too. :)

Oh, and Rocky is a good little movie tie in too.

How long before the X-Box is officially dead.

Have you seen the feeble amount of space dedicated to the standard X-Box in GAME recently? They have next to nothing in and have all but stopped selling new consoles. Even the second hand ones can be picked up for £40 with a game and a years warranty. Mind u, I got some great bargains in the 3 for ...

[86] Ghostbusters 2 is a complete and utter abomination of a game that starts off with a crappy ''Swing about on a rope for 5 minutes whilst not having any control whatsoever'' sewer shaft section, then gets rapidly worse with the remaining 2 mini games. The game based on the first film was released...

Try playing it on Taito Legends on hard setting. You should be able to clock the first time round on 1 credit.

They do work. I used to swear by my Atari Paddles when playing Arkanoid on the C64. Does anyone know of any cheap USB paddles for playing the game on MAME?

Hmmm. Not sure about the first game I played. Might have been a Space Invaders rip off on a cruise on holiday when I was about 9. Donkey Kong and Bubble Bobble were also 2 more of my earliest coin ops. :o
