by Fightersmegamix on Wed Mar 19, 2014 9:39 am Kilb, you need to check the durability of weapons, always carry more than one, unless they are equipped they don't count to your weight limit. Use the blacksmith to level up a few weapons and armour (you buy the key from the old hag in the giants fores...

Re: Dark Souls 2

Are all you players submitting replies robots and/or gaming athletes or am I really bad at playing games? I'm slowly working my way through Forest of the Fallen Giants. I increased my DEX so I could use a winged spear, only to have it break on me after a few strikes :( I killed the Turtle Guard and ...

Re: Dark Souls 2

okay, secrets etc... For players as terrible as me (I was killed by the 3 little pigs) here's one... If you struggle fighting many enemies (or that Turtleman in the Forest of Fallen Giants) try running up a ladder (left stick up + B on 360), and whilst at the top, lock on and throw down fire bombs a...

Re: Your one favourite game. Any format. Ever.

Avalon by Steve Turner on the Speccy. All the stars were correctly aligned when I played this game. The music (I know), the graphics, the control/menu system, the setting. It all just clicked for me. I was one of those pen and paper role players at the time, heavily influenced by British Myths. I ne...

I'm proud to admit that so far (after a very quick internet search),

And it is all down to my 35 years of playing videogames experience...

Re: What grinds your gears ?

Nervous brakers.
You drive along behind them (at a safe distance) and the brake lights come on at any sign of oncoming traffic/ tight spaces to navigate.
And those who brake at the last second. You can slow down by changing down gears, don't you know...

Re: What game have you COMPLETED this week

Two Worlds 2 on X Box 360 Okay, it's not up there with Skyrim, but I enjoyed it more than expected. Kinda stripped down Dragons Dogma/Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. Buggy, poor voice acting (not marrying with subtitles!), but with an interesting magical system. Kept me going until the fever pitch ex...
