Re: The 360 Import Thread

I noticed that a few of you have massive Shmup collections now on the 360! Do you know where there is a list of these that are region free? Heck I might end up getting a Japan console just so I can play all of these as the numbers have grown exponentially since I got Mushihimesama Futari.

Re: Chrono Trigger VC release

The loading on the PS1 version is annoying nowadays. I didn't know that Chrono Trigger never made it to PAL territories! Learn something new everyday. I actually got a boxed copy from my sister a couple years ago for a B-Day gift! As I told her to just get me a SNES game I was more than happy... got...

RF Modulator Question

Would using a RF Modulator produce a better picture for older systems like the NES/Master System/Mega Drive/SNES than standard RF alone?

Re: The limits of iPad 2 as a console emulator

I'm with everyone that the touch controls just don't cut it in terms of games. I generally play RPGs on my iPhone and sometimes action RPGs but even those are unreliable based upon the touch controls. The Wiimote does make it a billion times better when playing but it really does kill the portabilit...

Re: Collections: Protection for your games

If you are talking protection for boxed cases then videogameprotectors.com as mentioned before is your best bet. If you are looking for custom cases then mediashelving.net has Universal Game Cases for about a buck each. Then you can print out artwork from thecoverproject.net and everything can be b...

Re: A Couple Of Mame Questions

I have 2 SFIV pads hooked up to my MAME arcade machine. My PC is ridiculously old and it still runs almost everything this isn't polygonal. After you use google to get your items, there are programs that allow you to update them so that they are current. Just make sure that your MAME version is upda...

Re: Next Gen Games - Additional content disparity

Honestly if they did exclusive content more often I would get the PS3 version over the Xbox 360.

Re: The PSP collecting thread

The graphics in final fantasy IV complete look like the GBA version but put through a filter. So better than the SNES graphics but not the 3D remade that was on the NDS. It looks pretty.

I have used Atomic and switched over to Hyperspin however I have a old computer. I don't use my TV though, as I have a custom made cabinet.

Re: Biggest generation jump

Going from 16-bit to 32/64-bit was the biggest for me. 2D gaming sprites to 3D gaming polygons

Re: Chrono Trigger VC release

I still think that playing it on the SNES is the optimal way to do it! For some reason games just don't feel the same on the VC.

Re: Who's getting a 3DS then?

I got Steel Diver a few weeks back for $5 and still haven't opened it. I've been playing Super Mario 64 DS with the analog stick.
