Re: Post your Android games here?

I've heard a lot of people say the Hudl is a nice buy for the price. Obviously not on a par with a more expensive tablet, but price-wise it's in the same bracket as a lot of the cheap Chinese models and it knocks spots off them. This, my cheap Chinese table died, and I bought a Hudl 2. Can't fault ...

Re: What games/consoles have you bought this week??

Despite my impending PSP cull i did get tempted into a couple of cheapy games while out and about today. Ghost squad , mario Galaxy 1 & 2 on the wii and Lego Star Wars complete saga on ps3. 99p each so i just had to. Good buys, probably easily get 10x you money back on both Mario titles. Where from...

Re: Seriously.......WTF has happened to........

Yet another Tuesday morning and I find my self skipping a lot of RAWs padding It was great back in the Attitude Era, with The Corporation, The Ministry and DX, and the myriad combinations. It was like a sweaty Eastenders. Nobody remembers the other 80% of the Attitude era that was cack and forgetta...

Re: amiga comebacks

Kings Bounty. It wasn't an Amiga exclusive by any means but that was the format I had it on. A few years back it got a Windows Mobile 6 port. It was fantastic and is the reason I can't ever throw that phone away. It is now a dedicated Kings Bounty handheld. Didn't the whole Heroes of Might and Magi...

Re: Discuss Time! Issue 140 Retro Bargains

Last Ninja Remix and Vindicators on C64 cartridge, both complete.

Bought a boxed C64c plus quite a lot of software for £25, these two were shoved in the box.

Sold them for £130 and £55 respectively, so was happy enough with that.

Re: The Greatest Multiplayer games of all time

Initally all the ones that sprang to mind were PC FPS, but taking a more nostaligic view led me to the arcades of the 80's. 1) Counterstrike (PC) - Played way more than anything else. 2) Quake (PC) - Mainly on crappy dial up so prediciting where someone was moving to became the main skill. 3) Gauntl...

Re: Ps1 collecting thread?

A fair few generic common games but you do have some nice things there. Final fantasy always gets good money. Strider 2 if in good condition can get you anywhere from £25 to £50 on a good day on eBay. I would second this and add the 2 X-Com games as usually holding a good price, unless things have ...

Re: Buying a game again if you have the Rom

People trading in preowned games to get new ones.Isnt that the same as someone selling pirated stuff then using the funds to go into game and buy a new game. I would have to say no because piracy is illegal trading in pre owned games is not. I am not so sure, trade in prices can be considered crimi...

Re: From the forum issue 138 - Point and click

I can't recall ever playing a point and click game... Does Baldur's Gate count? Not even close. Damn! Looks like I might have to play one of these games just to say that I've played a point and click game! Well the only one I have played for more than 10 mins is B.A.T on the ST, by Ubisoft I think....

Re: Piracy. Is it good for the industry?

I didn't vote either way, as I don't consider it to be a question that can be definitively answered. To be honest neither did I, not a dig at the poll just can't vote either way. Fence sitting is not normally a pastime of mine but I cannot in all honestly say wether it is in black and white terms B...

Re: Just cause 3

I could never get in to the other two and got bored really quickly. I just ended up aimlessly wandering around the huge map site seeing. Hopefully this one will include the missing ingredient, although I don't actually know what that is! You could have just said its Crap! To be honest its a ...
