This might be a daft question (I've only got mario64 downloaded so far) but do the games run any different if you set the Wii to 60Hz (or 480p)

Some of these pre-order sites don't seem to be very good. I pre-ordered with toysrus (Thanks to SirClive) on the 24th Nov. and it arrived today.
Its ridiculous that you can pre-order so early an not have a wii today.

I know someone that pre-ordered a Wii yesterday in a local PC-World store (not the online PC-World site) He was only their 3rd pre-order.
Might be worth a shot for anyone still hoping to get one tomorrow...

Excellent cover, Great Mean Machines article (also reminded me to look at the brilliant website Mean Machines Archive again) So much Nintendo stuff its tricky to know where to start. :D I'm now thinking I need to pull my finger out and pre-order a Wii, and dust off my Nes Mario 3 in the meantime. :)...

so happy to see Shadow Dancer out in front at this stage. It was definitely overlooked by the mags at the time. It was the game I got with my MD as a kid, and loved the vertical "statue-of-liberty" level. And if you complete it you get the Shadow Dancer II start screen, and then complete that and ge...

In the movie Judgment Night , As the main cast get in a big top-of-the-range RV, Cuba Gooding Jr. grabs a NES Lightgun and pretends to shoot the other guys. The NES is sitting atop a TV. No-one actually gets around to playing the thing though. Considering this RV is meant to be the best thing going,...

Marty McFly playing Wild Gunman in Back To The Future 2.
Although I don't think an arcade version ever existed, it was only on the NES.

I bought the console version (xbox) to aviod the usual PC patches, driver tweaks etc, and my xbox version has locked up 3 times. Not from extensive playing or overheating etc. guess just an untested feature! All the same, great game, it does feel like a return to form for Lara. Possibly join...
