Retro bargains you didn't even know were such bargains

I picked up four PS1 games for NZ$1 each yesterday. I was most happy about getting a complete copy of Metal Gear Solid for next to nothing, but I also got Kula World - which I didn't even know was rare until I looked it up on the internet when I got home. :D

Re: Retro gaming & obsolete tech

The Game Gear TV tuner accessory is now completely redundant due as there is no longer an analogue TV signal, (at least in the UK) so really this is now an item solely for collectors. You can still use it. Connect a video source (e.g. freeview box, DVD player) to an analogue video sender and you ca...

Re: XBLA Countdown to 2013 Sale

Just a heads up, but The Walking Dead Episode 1 is currently free to download before the others go on sale Thanks for that. As a freebie, I quite enjoyed it and am intrigued to go buy the others. Hope they're discounted a lot, but I'd be more then willing to buy each for 400... The discount is live...

Apologies if there is already a thread for this, but I couldn't seem to find one.

Re: Christmas Deals Thread

For any Americans, Amazon.com has a downloadable version of Scribblenauts Unlimited for US$7.49 - but they'll only sell to US customers unfortunately. http://www.amazon.com/Warner-Bros-Digital-Distribution-Scribblenauts/dp/B00A4MWX04/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1356415569&sr=8-2&keywords=scribblenauts+un...

Re: The Walking Dead

Does anyone know if this is available as download only? I've not downloaded from the PS Store ever, but I'm really tempted by this game (i love the TV series), as I can't find any sign of it being available as a hard copy in the UK (I see the US have a retail copy next week). I think the disc versi...

I picked this "Halo 3-pack" up yesterday at JB Hifi here in New Zealand, but I can't seem to find anything about it online, does anyone know if it was released anywhere else?

Re: Nintendo Wii Mini

Except they have the same functionality that the "fat" models do, plus the 360 has wifi which the original didn't have. The Wii Mini is a major step down from the original. In case you missed it, the PS3 Slim ditched PS2 emulation and the ability to install Linux. Was that a major step down too or ...

Re: Nintendo Wii Mini

Game currently sell a preowned Wii for £50, this can play GameCube games, access internet features, download and expand upon. The Wii mini is just an excuse to release a dinky version of the previous brand generation, something that Nintendo seem to love doing despite poor sales. i can understand a...
