Re: What games/consoles have you bought this week??

Picked up Team Buddies for the PS1 for a few dollars, wasn't even aware it was rare when I bought it.

Re: Retro bargains you didn't even know were such bargains

I picked up four PS1 games for NZ$1 each yesterday. I was most happy about getting a complete copy of Metal Gear Solid for next to nothing, but I also got Kula World - which I didn't even know was rare until I looked it up on the internet when I got home. :D Cash converters or trade me, fellow Kiwi...

Ridiculous price wanted for "Akalabeth"

I know it's rare, but....
Not even the original hand-numbered version either.

Space Invaders is one of the best of the Super Gameboy carts,

Re: Australia's first R18+ rating game

Maybe a slight concern for Aussies that it's a version of a game that was previously available at MA15+. Quite possibly, it is more violent that the earlier version, but it could also be an indication that the R18 rating will mean some games that would have got MA15+ getting R18 instead, and games ...

Re: Australia's first R18+ rating game

^Ah, right. Due to owning several import Aussie VHS horrors in the early 90s, I know they had uncut versions of stuff like Dawn Of The Dead and The Toxic Avenger long before we did (not even sure we have a legit uncut release of the latter now?) Have they gone all nanny state and started banning ev...

Manhunt originally got an MA15+, but was later banned.

Re: What games/consoles have you bought this week??

Picked up the PC Collector's Edition of Oblivion for NZ$4 - unfortunately missing the coin, but everything else is there and in good condition. Already played it to death on Xbox 360 but thought I'd try some of the mods.

Re: Skyrim - Missed the bandwagon?

I still haven't played it despite all the rave reviews. But then I never got in to Oblivion despite loving Fallout. I think it's the fantasy setting that does nothing for me, as I found the same thing with Mass Effect and Dragon Age While i love Oblivion and Skyrim, I also prefer the setting of the...

Not yet, as I believe there is more DLC planned, but there no doubt will be one eventually.
