Re: Nintendo set to stop production of it's Wii

I've not really been too interested in it, so I've not really found out how the tablet element works. Is it possible to play old Wii games on just the tablet? I quite like the idea of playing Sonic Colours or LOTR Lego on the tablet while the Mrs watches her soaps or whatever. Apparently the recent...

Re: RetroN 5 Thoughts

How did they get the actual SNES screenshot, what cable did they use to hook it up - RF? Most probably. They are going to obviously attempt to make the Retron appear superior where possible. Will be more interesting when some comparison footage comes out. It is €89.99 or £56. :) Funstock have it li...

Re: Best Snes RPG for beginners?

For the GBA, probably the easiest traditional RPG is Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga.

Re: Best Snes RPG for beginners?

Chrono Trigger is pretty easy and fairly short (for an RPG).

Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars is fun and not hard to complete.

Note: neither game was released in the UK. If you're in the UK, you'll have to import the game (or emulate them).

Re: Do you pickup retro games from cash converters/generator

Neither the CC near where I live or the one where I use to live (a different city) do retro games (unless you consider the PS2 retro). I' don't believe I've ever seen a CG. :(

Re: What's your most valuable game?

Personally I'm more safari than zoo so not much of worth. Couple of mega cd games Sonic CD and final fight seem like they're worth a few quid and ff7 on PS. Have a loft full of old games though so who knows. Any rare Speccy games? I've got hundreds of them! There are and the Sinclair branded educat...

Re: What's your most valuable game?

At the moment, possibly my complete Secret of Mana game. Saying that, I expect some of the games in my almost complete UK clamshell NGPC collection would fetch a pretty penny on ebay (I've never looked). In the future, I imagine that my full set of the Resident Evil games on the GC would rise in val...

Re: Games with talking trees

Many Zelda games feature the Great Deku Tree.

Harold is a talking tree of sorts from the Fallout games.

Terranigma has a talking tree too.
