Re: Games that gaming time forgot...

Fingers Malone – A single screen platform game on the C16. Very tough but very addictive. Look out for the PC remake on tinternet. Tough as old boots that game but a classic. Commodore 16 - TimeSlip One of the most original old-skool shemups I've ever played. Surprisingly it's not on any other syst...

Re: Your Most Desirable 8-bit Micro?

My Commodore 16 + 64K internal ram upgrade as I always desired it to be as a kid, now it's done. It's a luxury item, and I just can't get used to the Plus/4 keyboard.

Plus my breadbin C64, once my 1541 Ultimate2 flashdrive is plugged into it which should arrive anytime soon. I can't wait 8)

Re: Giana sisters fans?

Never played Giana Sisters back in the day only recently on the plus 4 and the DS. I wish you didn't mention the dire Plus/4 version . I can't believe that they thought they'd get away with such a poor freeware game by calling it Giana Sister (no final 's').  I owned the original C64 ca...

Ikari Warriors.

Not perfect, naturally it wouldn't be. But it has the 2-player mode and tanks. Good game.

Re: Bomb Jack - Not a fan

Never liked it, never really understood what's going on. It's not the most intuitive of games. And the Commodore 16 version took several days to load. And it was crap. C16's Bombjack wasn't that bad, graphics were OK if a bit blocky with not the best collision-detection, and it did badly miss the p...

Re: Games that intentionally have no ‘game-play’

Psychedelia - Llamasoft I played this on both the C64 & C16. It was really just a user-defined lightshow demonstration, nothing more than that. No idea what the yak was smoking then. Little Computer People - Activision I had the C64 version of this. I would say that there is no gameplay as such, it'...

Re: Stupidest thing you've done thats damaged a game or mach

The only thing i have blown up is my C64 (seems to be a pattern on this forum!) Again it was the expansion port at the back that was my downfall, as with so many before me. However i was not silly enough to attack it with a paperclip/ scissors for use as a soft reset switch, oh no, it was due to on...

Not quite so modern. I recently completed Sonic Spinball on my Nokia. slightly cut down megadrive verison, very tricky and much easier on the megadrive itself.

Re: Consoles that are considered poor that you own.

Trouble with the GX4000 and C64GS was they launched 3 years too late! By the end of 1990 (when the GX4000 launched) 8-bit consoles were on the way out and the Megadrive was launching in Europe and the US, this coupled with the fact that why pay £25 for a cartridge when you could have the same two y...

A few good and a few not so good in your list there. Thanks for checking our site also. But check out plus4world too, they have a Top List of C16/Plussy games. You'll be pleasantly surprised at the amount of games now available for 64K users. Surprised Boulderdash+4 hasn't made the list, one of my f...

Re: Panorama - Internet Trolls - Severely depressing

I can't stand bullying. Bullying has always been the same throughout the years. I was bullied growing up, I've also been cyberbullied that I've had to extend my internet security, they even went after my fiance. The kind of people you wouldn't want to meet. Their poor excuse is that they are differe...
