castlevania new generation vs vampire hunter

Picked this up for the mega drive last week and am very happy with it but just wondered is there a REAL difference between this and vampire hunter the jap version?

I heard all the bloods been taken out of new generation but is that it? Doesn't seem to effect it playability wise as I quite enjoy it.

Also marble madness on the MD and am surprised on how easy it is. Was never that easy in the arcade.

Re: Truxton (aka Tatsujin)

If the stain can be removed without damage the cover then I would be happy with it and wouldn't send it back but would be a little cheesed off with the writing.

Also is the stain just on the box or the cover itself?

Re: Truxton (aka Tatsujin)

If I bought that it WOULDNOT pass my quality test. I don't mind the odd scuff here and there as you have to remember these games are upto 20 year old in fact I think truxton is but there is no excuse for writing then saying its in excellent condition.

Get it sent back.

Thanks for that lorfarius I will have a look. I know the mega cd hasn't got the best reputation (it was a bit of a flop) but I might consider keeping it IF I can get the games cheap enough.

Just picked up a mega cd console

http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c271/scorpionatthepc/DSCF0760.jpg From my local auction..........£8.80 what a bargain! Its boxed but the box is quite tatty and I have just connected it to my asian mega drive and it seems to work fine. Can't decide whether to keep it or not as I can't really think...
