Re: Discuss Time! Issue 152

For me it would be; Insane difficulty towards the end of a game. Poor sign posting, losing the breadcrumb trail leaving me wandering around the same area over and over again with no clue. Laborious tutorials that try to teach you the game leaving me uninterested by the time I've finished them. Too e...

Ditto. I think because I played it during the winter months too when Ski Sunday was on the telly.

Re: Tekken 7s guest character

Was gonna post on this, he looks bloody spectacular, although apparently it also comes with the news TxSF has been cancelled? What might have been... Source? None, really. Some guy in a thread on GAF saying that some guy on reddit translated something where it was mentioned. But I'm pessimistic eno...

Re: tablet owners/discussion thread

Was tempted by the Google Pixel C tablet as well. Googles equivalent to the iPad Air 2 with a snazzy magnetic keyboard attachment. Shame the OS isn't up to multi-tasking and that iOS tends to have many more tablet optimised apps.

Re: tablet owners/discussion thread

Love them! I have an iPad Air which I use every day (& using now to type this) and it's my favourite gadget by far. Been tempted to upgrade to the Pro or new Mini but haven't succumbed yet. They're just brilliant devices for content consumption and despite the naysayers who claim that Plus sized pho...

Not a franchise but a feature on Gargoyle Games if it hasn't already been done but presume it has been.

Re: I would love A Darkstalkers game done using the SFIV eng

The problem is that it wouldn't sell. At least not enough. I recall that the compilation of Darkstalkers 2/3 released onto Xbox live didn't do well sales wise. Unfortunately, the SF characters have much more traction with gamers in general.

Timothy Redux wrote:I think it was covered, but the Marsport, Tir Na Nog, Dun Darach speccy games - big animations - sort of an informal franchise I guess.
Add Heavy on the Magick to that as well.

Re: 8-bit franchises you'd love to see

Refresh my memory.... Sir Arthur Pendragon - have we had an article on that series of games? I know they were featured in the Ultimate article not long ago and I think the programmers were interviewed as well. However, there hasn't been a feature just focusing on those games specifically. I'd like ...

Re: Xbox 360 - Tenth birthday thread-oh

Currently enjoying the original Crackdown at the mo and having a blast. Never really like the open sandbox games before but I love the over the top nature of it. Killed all the bosses then reanimated them for more mayhem and achievements! :D I picked this up the other day for £2. Utterly barmy the ...
