Re: What are you currently playing?

We'll now that I'm bored of Overwatch I've been playing...pfft, no, I'm kidding. 26 hours and I'm showing no signs of stopping. Been playing a lot of Reaper recently, what a tank buster! Yeah, I think I've played 26+ plus hours of Mercy alone! I still haven't played two thirds of the cast yet...

Re: What are you currently playing?

First Play of the Game in Overwatch as Mercy, resurrected 3 guys on the point. Quite pleased with myself. I've had 2 POTG's with Mercy. It's really difficult to get it with her as the game appears to reward kill streaks more than anything else. Rezzed 4 peeps up a couple of days ago but no POTG, ho...

Re: What are you currently playing?

More Overwatch. For better or worse I am now completely addicted. Junkrat can go f*ck himself, Lucio needs a hard nerf and Mcree is a d!ck. Mei is Bae. Mei is the best. Yeah, me too. As a Mercy player I find Genji, Mcree, Reaver and Tracer a pain. I can deal with Junkrat though for the main part :)

Yeah I'm really liking Overwatch too. The characters are definitely the stars of this game.

Re: Overwatch

^ I do agree that some of the reviews coming out are silly; this is a very good, very fun shooter but it doesn't deserve perfect 10s/5s. A few months ago gamers and reviewers were lambasting Star Wars Battlefront for exactly the same cardinal sins that Overwatch commits. Yet somehow Overwatch not o...

Re: Overwatch

Had not bought a full priced game in years before Overwatch but can safely say I'm loving it so far. I usually hate all that COD sh1t, run, shoot, die, repeat but despite accusations of lack of content, I feel it was worth the £42.99 I spent on it. If you're on PS4, my gamer tag is rankle89 should y...

Re: Modern gaming is better than retro gaming.

Turn off router/disconnect console from network, no downloads. Fairly simple, you can just insert game and play. Unless it's a a downloaded game of course. That's a bit simple really as the 13GB update had all the weather effects and some other stuff that didn't come with the original release...

Re: Modern gaming is better than retro gaming.

Remember when you bought a console game and didn't have to install it and then wait for updates to download? Sod that. I'll play anything old or new as long as it suits my tastes and I can play it when I like - not after some patch has been downloaded. Also local multi-player is better than online....

The wink emoticon has been rendered useless on this board by other members. It's no longer taken in good faith by me I'm afraid.
I agree about the over use of that particular emoticon. We all know who is guilty of that.
Hitler?

Re: Which was really better - 64 or ZX?

As for comparing 21st century C64 homebrew games to early 80s ones from other machines to try make a point - hilarious. Keep it up that fellow. It's what keeps the boards in business. Yes, it's not a fair comparison to compare homebrew games now where the developers have had a virtually unlimited t...

Re: Memories of the first Ridge Racer (PS1)

Loved it. Played it loads at my local arcade and bought a PlayStation on day one just to play Ridge Racer. Just to think it was only one track with a couple of variations which would be considered stingy in this era. Although the graphics were amazing for the time,I think special mention should go t...

I believe that Motorstorm and Driveclub are Sony owned franchises, therefore, Evolution/Codemasters will not be contributing much to either series going forward.

Re: Apple (Tim Cook) vs the FBI, who's right and who's wrong

Apple have refused multiple requests to access phone or tablet data in the last year. That doesn't change their reason for refusal from one of profit. It's not just about profit, it only is if you're cynical enough to believe that there's no other reason. Here's an exert from an interview with mobi...

Re: EU in or out? June 23rd (Now with POLL)

All these predictions are based on precedent though, and the nearest precedent we would have if we left the EU would be when the UK left the ERM in 92, and we know what happened then- interest rates at 15%. If it carries on sliding we'll see interest rate rises, which means mortgage payments rising...
