Just bought a great cart off e-bay called Star Battle. Never played it before. You have to say there were some great cartridges produced by Commodore. Some weren't that far off the gameplay of the arcade machines they were copying.

Dreamcast -Dream Arena - A question

Back in the day I used to use my dreamcast for internet access and play games like Chu Chu Rocket. I dug it out recently and obviously it no longer provides Internet access. When did they withdraw it? And is there any way to still play Chu Chu Rocket online - perhaps a remake?

It's got Crazy Balloon on it. What more do you want! I remember playing this at a holiday camp in the early 80's. It was hard then and it still is now! At least I don't have to keep shovelling 10p's in....

Fave version has to be Crazy Kong by Interceptor on the VIC 20. It hasn't really stood the test of time but back in the summer of 1983 it was about the only game I played during the school summer 6 week holidays! Ah memories! I even kept a pad of my top 100 scores that summer. I loaded it up recentl...

Have to say Galaga beats Galaxians although both are great games. Gorf on the VIC 20 is a classic by the way!

I saw a copy of Vic Men by Bug Byte go for £51 on e-bay last week. Might be worth looking to see if any of you have a copy lurking somewhere!

I still can't get it to work. The games that saved the scores in the arcades still do on Mame, eg Pole Position, Track n Field etc but the FAQ states that you can save the high scores on games that didn't save them in the arcades. Thats the bit I can't work out how to do!

Did anyone ever complete all the Adventure International Series? As far as I can recall I completed Adventureland, Pirates Cove, Voodoo Castle & The Count but Mission Impossible was er, impossible! I'd get so far then there would be an explosion for no apparent reason and that would be that!

I know this isn't really the point of this thread but can someone help? I have used Mane32 for ages now but I can't work out how to get the games to save the high scores. I have downloaded the hiscore.dat file but where do I put it? It's driving me round the bend! If you can keep the explanation as ...

First computer game played was a TV Pong console. First arcade game was Space Invaders. I can't play it now but back then it was simply awesome. Then I played Outlaw on my mates Atari VCS and nagged my parents until they bought me my own VCS. I then owned a Spectrum and a Vic 20. Penetrator and Craz...
