Monkey and Indy games are graphic adventure games.

Re: From the Forum question for issue 77

Surely The Secret of Monkey Island is the finest graphic adventure ever produced? It is in my opinion anyway!

Re: Favorite Tetris Game

Supertwintris on the Amiga is probably my favourite and most played version of Testris. It blows the socks off that 1987 Mirrorsoft atrocity at any rate.

Re: Xenon 2 megablast-Amiga

Same problem afflicted most Bitmap games for me. Looked and sounded nice, played like crap. Style over substance. Magic Pockets is another one. Lots of hype that it didn't love up to beyond Doing the Do sampling. Not too enthused with the Chaos Engines either, but I'm not keen on that game format an...

Re: Super Tennis, best Tennis game?

From your description of the game I am assuming you're not talking about the Sega Mastersystem card game:

Probably not quite as memorable, but it was nice and easy on my pre-teenage wallet!

Re: Dom Diamond interviewed

Oh, and Channel 4 should NOT bring Gamesmaster back to the TV Screen (as apparently they're hoping to do) as the introduction of the Internet has basically killed magazine-style format show stone dead. Why wait for some minor Z-list "Celebrity" to do a challenge on Gamesmaster so you can see the ga...

Treasure Island Dizzy. Difficulty level perfectly pitched and a wicked twist at the end if you haven't played it before.

Re: Issue 74

Quick flick through looks like a promising issue. That SAM is horribly yellowed though! :(

Paperboy appealed to my inner window smashing vandal as a kid, so I'll go with that.

Re: SAM Coupe

Anyone able to confirm the specs of it? Better still a URL for the auction? I paid 110 quid for my mint 512MB Coupé about 5 years ago, interested to see what it might fetch now. Mind you I'll never sell it as it is too damned awesome for words.

Cheers

The t-shirt also came with my screen gems pack. I had two of those shirts, can't think where the other one came from unless it came with my Cartoon Classics A500+ pack after I killed the 500 in the screen gems one.

Re: Issue 73 feedback

Brilliant cover and main feature and very interesting Simon article. I'd certainly be interested in more of this sort of stuff. I generally enjoy Iain Lee's column - I thought last months was terrific, but agree he seems to have completely missed the point of the Micromen JSW joke. I'd be interested...

Re: From the Forum question for issue 74

I realise I'll probably be thrown out of the forum for this, but I never liked joysticks. I think it was because I was so badly scarred by some Kempston Joystick I had on my Spectrum, with its adapter/interface that plugged into the back which you couldn't even look at otherwise it would move and t...

Re: From the Forum question for issue 74

I thought the Quickshot python was a great stick. None of those annoying micro-switches on it, nice low profile base and a huge comfortable shaft to grab hold of. Definitely my weapon of choice on SWOS.
