Re: What grinds your gears ?
Hard drives failing. Earlier I was watching a video about the speed of light, when the browser froze. Other things sort of worked, so I rebooted, but it took ages to get going properly, so I thought I'd restore C from a backup. Unfortunately it wasn't C that was the problem, it was another drive. I'm guessing it's probably a year away, but it's great news that it's being made.

Re: My 14yr old Daughters' Retro Art

I used to take my Zzap mags to school for my Art lessons. One thing I'd change if I had a time machine, would be to take a photo of one particular drawing I did. Lots of bits of Olli art on one pic, which was my favourite drawing I ever did. I didn't get it back.

Me and my Brother were looking at the screen when the game started, with Lara on a grassy slope and we looked at each other and said "Is it on? Is t...

Re: football management games
I haven't played many, but I liked Player Manager, The Manager (nice animations of the gameplay), and Soccer Supremo (written in AmigaBASIC). All on the Amiga.

Man Vs Snake. Very similar to The King of Kong, but with Nibbler, instead of Donkey Kong. Anyone who liked KoK should like this.

Roadkill. It was the substitute for the lack of a GTA game the year it came out. I remember liking it quite a bit. From what I remember, it was a bit like GTA, but you didn't get out your car. Lots of shooting and chasing about a open world. I can't remember the specifics.

I hope it's something else.
The only thing worse than a back to the 2000s, would be calling it back to the noughties.

The costs involved in a funeral and the fact you are getting robbed by funeral firms with all the 'little extra' costs A bit of advice with getting someone's assets after they die - We were pointed to a company that handles this kind of thing. They looked very professional, and showed us all the co...
