As a C64 owner, was of course jealous of Ant Attack and Knightlore's graphics on the Spectrum. I don't really understand that. Click here for a comparison. I personally think the one on the left looks better. Someone once said that the freescape games looked better on the Spectrum, so I tried them ...

Another one - C64 this time.

The first time I played on a C64 I was shown Aztec Challenge and I couldn't believe that such amazing sound could come out of a computer! I was humming the tune for days afterwards and I knew I had to get a C64 as soon as possible.

Playing Defender of the Crown for the first time. It was at a computer club I used to go to, and someone was demonstrating the new machine. It was the first time I got my hands on an Amiga. It had a proper operating system; used a mouse; 3.5 inch disks; looked like a 'real' computer (it was an A1000...

I would rather make my own CDs recorded directly from my C64, than either buy someone else's compilation which won't match my favourites, or use SidPlay which is emulated sound.

I have also always played my C64 audio through proper speakers. It's the only way.

I love SID music. It was a big part of the whole gaming scene for me while I had a C64. Sometimes I would just load a game to listen to the music and look at the loading picture, then switch it off when the game came on :D These days I mainly listen to the RKO remixes in a collection of 6 CDs I comp...

Hopefully it'll be back today. The engineers were working on it yesterday and will be today (from the Invision announcements forum):

"The datacenter has been working on Server 13 today. More work will be done tomorrow. Hopefully by then we will be able to pass along more information."

it is a call for the games we retro gamers love I like some games that are like that (I chose Rodland for the RS game league and I like Bubble Bobble etc), but the 3D GTA games are my favourite games and I also like the Half-Lifes and Metal Gear Solids. I would probably stop buying games if they al...

It would be quite fun seeing what other people had done on their computers at the time. Re-makes on PCs are a different thing, and we have had them on countless RG cover discs, but actual games that were written years ago on people's Amigas/C64s/Spectrums etc would be a good laugh. I made some crapp...

GTA 3 i give credit for moving to 3d but the PS2 controller just isnt suited and the better PC version we had to wait for Apart from when you have to aim a gun's crosshair, the controls were perfect on the PS controller. Aiming is never going to be easy with an analogue joystick; you need a mouse f...

How's this? I've done it big, so you can mess with it before shrinking it. If you need me to shrink it, let me know. [edit] Links don't show up here. The work "this?" is a link, if you didn't spot it. [edit again] The link shows up blue once you have clicked it. Maybe someone should change that.

God knows what cinema costs £3.20.
Go here and enter "cinema" in the search box:

I always go in the morning. It's more expensive in the afternoon, then even more at night.
