Re: Anyone added external drive to PS4

Yes, I've put a 2TB hard drive in mine He's on about adding an external one. I've never really seen the point in this, as putting a larger one into the PS4 makes a lot more sense to me. Adding an external one just gives you a load of hassle as far as I can see. It would need to be plugged in all th...

Re: console battle Q14 XBOX 360 VS PLAYSTATION 3

PS3 has much better exclusives. Plus it's not by Microsoft, so it's obviously the best choice. And it doesn't cover the screen with adverts. Oh, and it has a blu-ray player. And it has trophies instead of a number. And it's not by Microsoft. And games aren't on multiple disks.

I got the Japanese one, too. Maybe all subscribers did.

There isn't a lot of difference between the two, anyway.

Re: Ever backed the wrong " Horse "

I don't think I ever had what I would class as a bad choice. We had Betamax in the early '80s, but we didn't rent films much as it was 99% used to record from TV, and the tapes were more compact, which was better. When we did rent films, we always got what we were looking for. Computers were all the...

Re: What Films/TV Have you Watched Recently?

The Fly (the Jeff Goldblum/Geena Davis one). I watched that a few months back, and I still thought it was a great film. I've just started watching Murder in Successville , a totally bizarre BBC comedy series that puts people into a murder mystery and they have to solve the case. I've just watched E...

Re: Best of the 80's

Hmm, a different generation I suspect, but here goes: Best GiJoe character - I don't know what it is. Best Transformer - Never watched it. Best Turtle - Never watched it. Best Wrestler/Tag team - Never watched it. I remember Big Daddy being one, so him. Best Toyline - Lego Best Cartoon - Scooby Doo....

Re: What Films/TV Have you Watched Recently?

The totally unexpected new series of Prison Break. I really liked it. Anyone who watched the others and liked them should like this one.

Re: the kick off thread

I liked Kick Off, Kick Off II, Player Manager, and Goal. I've played those more than all other football games combined. I liked Sensi, but played Dino's games more.

Re: Why did you choose your avatar?

I'm a fan of Paradroid and Uridium (and Andrew Braybrook in general), so I used the Influence Device from Paradroid as it seems perfect, with it looking like a head with eyes. I like the way it animates, too.

Re: David Pleasance book Kickstarter

I'm really disappointed with the stretch goals. It's the worst one I've ever seen, and I've backed over 20 of the things. The first one was something that was already promised in the video (but not mentioned on the main page; signed books), and the second one was for another Kickstarter (download on...

Re: Game of Thrones

:-)

Yeah, it's good stuff.

I sometimes think that's what would happen if I ever watched the modern Battlestar Galactica. I was totally bored with the original mini-series that set up the normal series, so I never bothered with it. I didn't even finish the mini-series.

Re: What games do you own and still haven't played?

If we are talking about legally owned games, then one, and that's because I got it a couple of days ago from PS Plus and I'm still playing one of the other ones. I don't have many original retro games, though the 50-60 I've bought in the last 10 years for the C64/Spectrum/VCS have all been played, a...
