Re: Retro Gamer - Issue 170

Heard back from subscriptions. An odd email claiming I'd said I'd not received the issue but it had been sent out.

There are no replacements to be had, so extending subscription by one issue.

Grateful for that but it did look like my email wasn't read.

Re: Retro Gamer - Issue 170

Thing is darran, there are issues with printing almost every issue now. It's getting frustrating. I just want to be able to read the mag!

Re: Retro Gamer - Issue 170

Pages 46 and 47 are completely unreadable. Grey print on black paper? I'm assuming this is a misprint.

Annoying because it's an artic game.

Can I get a new copy please?

Re: 3DS Games discussion/Collecting thread

I picked up 'Ever Oasis' on Friday... anybody else played it yet? https://cdn02.nintendo-europe.com/media/images/05_packshots/games_13/nintendo_3ds_6/PS_3DS_EverOasis_enGB.jpg It's kind of like a cross over between 'Secret of Mana' and 'Animal Crossing' - certainly not a classic but I'm having quit...

Re: Charity Shops

A Gamecube game in the wild, first time in a bit... Prince of Persia Two Thrones - mind condition £1.

Also, Tetris Tower 3D board game... you can "touch, feel and control the pieces" - as the box proclaims! A rather odd game £2.

Re: What games/consoles have you bought this week??

Picked up BoTW special edition from argos locally.

The box is massive!

Probably won't get a switch until Christmas time though.

Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion

I'm enjoying it so much, I've tracked down the switch special edition for £80.

I don't have a switch.

Gaming kinda does this to generally sensible people doesn't it?

Re: Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild

I enjoyed firing an arrow into a beehive and watching the angry bees chasing two bokogoblins around.

Not played the Switch version but the wii u is fantastic. A real pleasure to play. Plus it looks amazing.

Re: Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild

I've done an hour or so on the wii u. It's really good although the lack of inventory space is a bit irritating.

Having seen a lot of switch footage, the wii u is a pleasant surprise, I thought it may look a little rough in comparison but it doesn't.

Re: Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild

And....Amazon haven't despatched the guardian amiibo either!

They really have had a bit of a mare.

It's annoying cause no one will be home to receive it.
