Re: So I just bought a Commodore 128....

No matter what I try of the above, every time I try to LOAD it says it can't find the file, error, and the disc drive starts to blink. Seller said that it worked a few days before, when he tested it. Anyone has any idea what could be wrong? The switch for the disc drive is gone, could that be why it...

Classic Game Room (2000 game reviews on Youtube)

I bet most of you already know this channel, but I was surprised to find out just how many game reviews these guys have made. 2000+ videos! Come on!? AND entertaining?! Yep. I've started watching it from beginning to end sorted by date, taking notes, becuase I'm a censored geek. So many recommendati...

Re: What Films/TV Have you Watched Recently?

Just finished 4. season of Dexter. John Lithgow is well cast in this season. The ending surprised me. I didn't see it take that dark a twist.

Re: Everquest 2

Well, you're right. I've played most of it solo, but I also think that becoming member of a very friendly guild helped make the game a more social experience than before. Some dungeons and heroic enemies are usually hard to defeat unless in groups, so parts of the game are group-focused as far as I ...

Just started on Killing Floors. I don't know how long it will remain fun though, I predict 20 hours max.

So I just bought a Commodore 128....

... what should I know about this system? I already got the 64, so did this purchase even make sense?

Luckily I got a stack of games, a disc drive, and 4 joysticks. Along with the machine it cost me 18£ so all in all it was an all right purchase.

But what can you tell me about this machine?

Ys: The Oath in Felghana - Now on STEAM

That's strange, it's on STEAM for 12 euros.

Could this be a new platform crossover trend from handhelds to STEAM? Would make sense, since a lot of the new releases there are less extravagant graphically, and in that price area.

Great initiative, unfortunately the game's way too expensive to get just for this, unless I owned a Saturn.

Re: What games/consoles have you bought this week??

This little lot at £3.00 each from local charity shop, some worth getting (Heroes II/III, Final Fantasy VIII) some not so much (Nox, Black Moon Chronicles). All are complete with everything right down to the registration cards - weird! I'm not a PC gamer but happy to arrange a swap if anyone wants ...
