Re: Has anyone ever sold off their RG collection?

I have every issue and have no plans to get rid of any. They make a nice collection and I do like to go and have a flick through the old issues. I get a bit of pressure from my wife to clear out and I have to pacify her by selling or giving bits and bobs away. RG mags have and will survive any purges!

Re: What are your kids after this Christmas?

Lego Dimensions is on my kid's list along with a new skateboard and possibly a HUDL. Not sure whether to get the HUDL, go for a different Android device or get an iPad.

Re: 'random niceness' thread

Anyone want DOOM 3 and DOOM 3 R of E for Xbox? Both in good nick and include instruction booklet. I think I have Riddick for Xbox too if anyone wants it and I can find it. If I could take the Doom games off your hands I'd appreciate it! I'll search for some replacements later tonight :) Of course y...

With a flattop hairdo that Ivan Drago was jealous of it has to be Guile. That spinning double kick was pretty cool too.

Re: Top 150 Games poll - Best Gauntlet character

The best was the Wizard but it was always a fight, shoving, pushing and bit a of verbal all included, to get to be the Wizard. Warrior was the next most fought over!

Re: State Of Decay

Totally agree with, beans, on this. Well worth picking up at the discounted price. I put a lot of hours into this game. I enjoyed the main game but Lifeline, the first DLC was too samey after the main game. Breakdown is brilliant :)

Re: top 3 ds games

Mario Kart DS - hours and hours of racing in single player, online worked pretty well and it had R.O.B!
LoZ Phantom Hourglass
I'll have to go with NSMB too.

Re: Your favourite RG issue

The first issues were great. Loads to read that I was interested in and not too many adverts.

I loved the Zelda edition with the gold cover and the issue with the new Zzapp! mag :)

Re: Look In and Fast Forward Magazines

I remember "Look in" really well. It was great to cut up for posters to stick on my bedroom wall. But my best memory of it is that there was a Pen Pals section. I responded to a Japanese pen pal requesting a friend in the UK. We're still in contact all these years later. We've met up a few times too...

Re: RIP XBLIG

I bought a few games from xblig. Some shmups, platformers and an 'Elite em up', I forget the name of the game, that was really superb.
I was hoping we'd see indie shop channel on Xbox One but hey ho....

Re: From the forum issue 147 - Favourite gory games

Some gory C64 games I remember.... Death Wish 3 had pretty cool sprites and some gory graphics. Gunshots would go straight through the bad guys exploding from their backs. This was a gore fest to a 13 year old! Creatures 2! Chainsaws and all! Speed Racer. Although driving a racing car along a street...
