Re: Wiiware and VC - Claim your stars!

I checked my account again today and the Waluigi issue seems to have been rectified so I was able to collect the stars for all the remaining games; Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels Super Mario World Street Fighter II The World Warrior Super Probotector Alien Rebels I emailed Nintendo about the pro...

99p!? Bargain!

I think the Wavebird is great and would highly recommend you get one. I played through the first Res Evil game on the Cube and thought it was absolutely superb.

Eternal Darkness is well worth checking out and, as said above, you can get it for around £5.

Re: Recommend me some Xbox 360 driving games.

Test Drive Unlimited - It looks a little dated now (not that that will bother any retro gamer!) , but the island is HUGE!! I mean, you have never seen this amount of road in a game EVER! You get many different challenges such as races, time trials, taxi runs (beat the time limit), car delivery miss...

Wiiware and VC - Claim your stars!

I'm guessing a few members here have downloaded vc games to their Wii's. Way back when the VC was launched the old Nintendo website said that we could get stars for our VC downloads. It seems they've finally got around to implementing this. If you've linked your Wii to your Club Nintendo account the...

Re: Anyone tried the new Lode Runner on Xbox Live Arcade?

I wasn't overly impressed with the demo though I did only play it for a short time. I think the 1200 price bracket is off putting. I resisted R-Type Dimensions for a while but I crumbled after playing the demo over and over again. I'm not getting the same pull to play the Lode Runner demo. That said...

Re: Spender TV Series: 1991 - 1993

I thought Spender was a pretty good programme. I remember getting a paperback novel originally entitled "Spender" in my Christmas stocking one year. I even remember the theme music!

Re: tetris on gameboy

Great score, but how many lines? We need this info........... Cheers. It was only around the 155 lines mark I think. The end screen wasn't displayed for long before it switched to the rocket blasting off! Otherwise, I'd have taken the pic with the lines displayed too. I'll have a few games ov...

Re: tetris on gameboy

Like many a first gen Gameboy owner I used to play Tetris an awful lot. I haven't touched it for a while but after I saw this thread I thought I'd have a go. I dug out my GB Pocket earlier this evening..... first attempt was v.poor! I thought I had lost my touch - quite possible after playing Tetris...
