Re: The worst game ever.

For some reason N64 Superman[/shudder] sprung to mind when I read your post crusto. Not sure why as I haven't had the misfortune to play it in many years. Now I think about it I think I equally loathed Superman, the First Star effort, on the C64 too[/doubleshudder]. But the worst game I ever played,...

Re: Choices for issue 67

The variety makes this a tough call but I'm going to go for Streets of Rage 2

Re: What are you currently playing?

Conker's Bad Fur Day. I sold the N64 version I had a few years ago but picked up Reloaded for a fiver recently. It's a shame BFD is censored compared with the Nintendo version. Never thought I'd say that! All the charm of the original has been retained though and once I complete single player "Potty...

Re: To those of you who bought a Wii - do you regret it??

I don't regret it at all even though I don't play it more than a couple of times a month. There are a lot of great games and perhaps contrary to the image of the Wii being a casual gamer's paradise the variety of games is already very good and it's improving all the time. With a little knowledge it'...

Re: Hot Topic - Best Elite Conversion

I'm with witchfinder here and I've voted for Ghosts n Goblins. GnG looked stunning and played great imo. I'm sure Zzap heaped 98% and lavished much praise on it.

I remember the "can't jump right" point that you mention psj3809 but I guess I just got used to that and played around it.

Re: What are you currently playing?

Fable 2 again. I downloaded See The Future dlc yesterday. Is it any good? It is yes. Not as visually impressive as Knothole but I think the quests more varied. There are new items including, I think, some of those that were previously only available in the Pub Games games, new enemies to contend wi...

Re: R Type dimensions

I have to say the ship feels really sluggish to control. The general flight feels like I'm going through treacle. I used to find that with the right reaction you could avoid anything, but now I find myself not being able to out run or avoid certain things. I played infinite mode and lost countless ...

Re: Fallout 3 - DLC (360)

Broken Steel is excellent and follows on from the main Fallout 3 story which I liked. I downloaded it yesterday and I've completed 3 extra missions. Probably took me 6 hours but I like to soak up the new locations and not just go from point A to Point B etc just to finish the mission. BS opens up mo...

Re: From the forum question for issue 65

Metroid Prime 3: Corruption for me. I love the way it melded all the quintessential Metroid elements from the 2d games, Prime and Echoes and then took it all a step further with motion controls. As close to feeling Samus as you can be. Sorry, I meant to say, as close to feeling like you're there in ...

Extreme for me. An innovative and respectful update that betters SI but doesn't replace it.
