Re: What grinds your gears ?

White van drivers Totally live up to the image. Last week, first day of the holiday. On the motorway near Manchester the traffic in the third lane grinds to a halt, a few seconds later a huge hit in the back of the car and mr white van driver must have been way too close. Didnt even get out of his ...

Re: What games/consoles have you bought this week??

Not sure Cammy (or Sodom for that matter) ever made it into the game. I've seen concept art for both, but never found them in the main game or arcade mode. Also, just wait until the fire extinguisher bit in the main game. Its really silly, and really badly programmed! Cammy is an optional fight in ...

Re: Nintendo shut down Emuparadise.

Worst part is that I don't care about Nintendo roms but if the other, non-Nintendo stuff tanks with it then that sucks!

Re: What games/consoles have you bought this week??

Final Fight Streetwise for the PS2. Terrible rep but after watching some gameplay and forgetting about the Final Fight name, the game itself actually looks...okay? So I bought a copy. Looking forward to giving it a go when I get the chance :) Oh you poor soul. You've no idea what you've unleashed. ...

Re: What grinds your gears ?

My driving. :( I learned and passed my test in a diesel car but now I'm driving by myself in a petrol my driving has gone to pot. I'm forgettign to change down gear a lot and also I'm stalling quite a bit, even when I don't stall I'm very slow off the mark when I move off, I decide in my head to go...

Re: Selling sealed Radiant Silvergun - looking for advice

i'm slightly confused about the bit in bold. Does this mean if my copy of Radiant Silvergun were to sell for eg £400 and something happens to it in the during transit, I will only get a maximum of £250 back? This "enhanced" compensation seems to be only option that goes beyond the maximum £50 payab...

It was in off topic in what books you read recently, probably been bumped several pages back by all the politics threads
Found it for you so I will PM it over. I'd posted in the thread myself recently so it was still relatively close to the top :)

Re: Selling sealed Radiant Silvergun - looking for advice

Definitely offer international shipping if you can. I'd say 75% of the games and other stuff I sell gets sent abroad. People seem to pay more (even taking international shipping into consideration) for collectibles and games than they do here in the UK. Almost all of the high value games I have sol...

Re: What are you currently playing?

^^^ Sounds great. The Tales series has probably become my top JRPG series in recent years. Final Fantasy has disappeared up it's own arse as far as I'm concerned and there really isn't much else outside of the totally crazy Nippon Ichi and Gust stuff that makes me want to see the plot through to the...

Re: Save our forum!

I wanted to copy and paste my Mindfighter book review to text to a friend, to lazy to type out again. Seems strange the forum being hidden, surely people will registering fake usernames to view a locked forum. When I was active there was about 90 members David Brent, Steve Davis, Mr Burns and Krust...

Re: Save our forum!

Just viewing Retro Canteen and I can’t see the forums looks like I’ve been banned for some reason. It's just locked to anybody that isn't signed up as a member, Shin. Has been for a while now I think. I don't personally agree a forum should be set up like that but an influx of joke/spam/troll accou...

Re: What are you currently playing?

Tales of Beseria still 90 hours😧 I know I let the OS4 running when I did other things, but damn! Even better then my previous favourite Xillia. The only problem I had with Xillia was nobody really died but damn they murder everyone on this one. Previously defeated bosses return with Eyes or arms mi...

Re: What are you currently playing?

This afternoon I was playing the absolutely superb Streets of Rage Remake for the first time in ages. Feel kind of bad talking it up because I know it was pulled and I'm not sure how easy it is for people who haven't already got it to acquire it these days. Anyway, my USB Saturn pad broke years ago ...
