Re: 'random niceness' thread

Got a small stack of 5x PS2 games that I want to get rid of, preferably all in one go for convenience. V-Rally 3 The Operative: No One Lives Forever Project Minerva Professional XG3: Extreme-G Racing Timesplitters All are original releases and complete with instructions. If there are no takers then ...

Re: Konami Anniversary Collections

Where is Violent Storm? I keep waiting and waiting for a day when I can play it properly outside of MAME. Also odd that they didn't even bother with Simon's Quest to "complete" the NES trilogy. It's a positive thing overall though. Still, would have been nice to see everything whacked together for o...

Re: Sony announces Playstation 1 Classic

I will get one when it is around £30, as long as I can hack it and put my own selection of games on Perhaps a dumb question... But if you hack it, does the poor emulation persist since it's the same hardware or is literally just bad quality roms (or whatever Sony used)? As I say, could be a thick q...

Re: Sony announces Playstation 1 Classic

Is it the case that the PS1 Classic hasn't sold as well as Sony had hoped? If so, is it just because the appetite for that retro doesn't match that of the Nintendo classic stuff? Or that the reviews of it not being as well done as it could have been (the display settings etc.) turning people off th...

Re: PS4 Exclusive Recommendations?

I need to get back into SFV. Enjoyed the gameplay and visuals but unfortunately, I don't bother with online as I don't have the time to get THAT good. Playing offline is crap for amassing FM so you're kind of committed to having to pay for stuff with cash. Wasn't impressed with having to pay for thi...

Re: What grinds your gears ?

Hotmail. Had my email adress with them for just over twenty years I believe and out of nowhere when I logged in it gave me a message about someone else possibly using my account. I create a new one for the purpose of receiving a new code and to complete a form. Hotmail come back telling me that my ...

As a Honda owner, I miss your old "Civic M8" signature pic. That feels like a long time ago now!

Re: PS4 on Credit?

My two pence worth... I too was brought up to not buy what you can't afford. If you want something then you have to work for it or find a way to make better/bigger money. The only thing I personally condone credit for is mortgages or cars. Even with the latter, I paid outright for my first two cars ...

Re: Is the Wii U still worth getting in 2019?

One thing I'd add is that if you've never played the original Wii and have an interest in some of the games on that then the Wii-U is an even better prospect as the Wii "mode" is flawless. So even if there are only a handful of Wii-U games on your agenda, there are still more things to pick up. The ...

Re: What are you currently playing?

Thanks to Shinobi, I now have Dragon's Crown Pro on the PS4. I played the life out of the PS3 version (when it first released) and used the Fighter and Sorceress characters. This time, I have decided to go for the Elf which is a bit more challenging since she isn't as strong and you really have to f...

Re: Buying CD's

I use new tech as well but I like to have a bit of both. Had 1000+ tracks on my mp3 player for example and it randomly corrupted at the end of last year. If I'd have been a dummy and not had all that backed up then that would have been it. It was a real mix of stuff ripped from CD's or downloaded fr...

Re: Playstation Recommendations

Prices have gone up a lot haven't they? Just sold both Dino Crisis games as a pair for over £40 (not including the cost of international shipping which has been paid for on top) on ebay. I remember picking these up really cheap a few years ago.

Re: What game have you COMPLETED this week

Finished off Spyro Reignited Trilogy today. All three games maxed with all the skill points. Bit too easy to blast through them after playing the PS1 originals over and over since they first came out but nevertheless, I really enjoyed the refresh on these and how faithful they were to the originals....
