There was a special edition of P3 in Europe? No clue, because I had the firstprint of the US version imported...could be described as a special edition with artbook and soundtrack. Or do you simply mean FES? If so, then it's the same game only with some minor tweaks, some new Sidequests and events ...

Only thing I bought is an obscure game called Zombie Zone. Should have turned up today but I have a the feeling that the snow and ice all over the roads have slowed things down. No big deal - I can wait.

Probably going to put in my pre-order for Persona 4 too soon-ish I think.

Aside from what I've listed in my sig, I'm also nearing the end of Final Fantasy VI Advance.

Well worth the money it cost to get a brand new and sealed copy as opposed to risking it on ebay and ending up with a pirated cart from Hong Kong for example.

My copy of Rogue Galaxy only set me back £7.99 brand new from GAME last year. Oddly, there were pre-owned copies in the actual store for £19.99?!? Once I finish Persona 3 I'll have to choose between Rogue Galaxy, Dragon Quest 8 or Persona 4. I might just go back and finish God of War 2 first though.

see what you mean. I think the Xbox and the Xbox 360 are too western for my liking if you know what I mean. I only got mine last year though and I'm sticking with the exclusive's just as I did with the Gamecube (leave the multiplatform stuff to the PS2). It's the Sega stuff and the hidden gems such...

Odd you should say that, as the X-box is a machine I feel little affection for. A few nice exclusives notwithstanding (Out Run 2, Halo, Panzer Dragoon). its a bit meh, really, despite having some of the best versions of a few multiformat games. Ugly too- I've got a crystal version which I find bear...

I hear Rogue Galaxy and Dark Cloud are really good but very underrated? That's what most people say. I've got Rogue Galaxy in my 'to play' pile but I hear that it's pretty good, less so towards the end. There's also Dark Chronicle, another highly rated RPG by the Dark Cloud people which sunk withou...

I thought the Micro looked really good in my opinion. The screen is lovely but I don't really use it due to it being a bit too small for my liking. I only bought one because Woolies were selling them off for £40 a few years back. The only console I was really underwhelmed by was the original Xbox r...

i love 505 gamestreet/essential games/d3publisher. a lot of the pal releases are really hard to find in the uk, but apparently they're all common as muck in italy, so if anyone know of any italian sites that ship to the uk... This very thing happened with the PAL PS2 release of the RPG Ar Tonelico....

Ashley in Resi Evil 4 - even my wife, who was a casual observer and offered advice at various points (infamously,at the Gigante boss, offered 'just go and buy a bloody rocket launcher', which worked!), ended up repeatedly stating "Has she got bloody snatched away again? She's HOPELESS!" :D I found t...

The DS is great for RPG's at the moment with many more on the horizon.

Also good for importing bizarre and downright weird Japanese stuff :)

Has nobody mentioned Miles "Tails" Prower yet? He's GOT to be up there.

Oh and Tingle from the Zelda games pisses me off too!
Played Sonic 2 again yesterday actually and Tails is annoying,

there are some really terrible simple 2000 games, though, like demolition girl, which is a poor 3d shooter in which you fly a helicopter in various missions fighting a giant bikini model. the series has something of a cult status, because although the real gems are few and far between, even some of...

Tales of Symphonia without a doubt. By contrast, the Wii sequel doesn't look nearly as good. Does anyone know when this is coming out? Play say 6th Feb - never trust their dates :) It looks ok, the loss of the world map is not a problem but the dodgy wiimote controls probably will be. Wafting aroun...
